went to see the expendables with the mrs on friday & i gotta say we both loved it, like being bak in the 80's all over again, worth the entrance fee just for the scene with schwarzenegger, willis & stallone. anyone who grew up loving commando, cobra and die hard will love this film. 9 outta 10 rating for me;D

Yea i think they will possibly make a 2nd, no reason not to the way it was left. I thought when this came out that all they needed was Van Damme & Seagal, and that would complete the lot, maybe throw in Carl Weathers too just for good measure ;D

I saw Piranha 3D - great fun and very entertaining in a leave your brain at the door way. Was surprised really - and a good cast list. ELisabeth Shue would get it big time ;)
Hot Tub Time Machine was ok too - as well as Crispin Glover I though one of main guys in movie who tried to kill himself at beginning stole it (don't know his name??)
thought Crazies was pants
thers one out called Cherry Tree Lane or something - suppoosed to be good

Expendables - All star team casts, but mediocre story.
Salt - A female version of Bourne Identity. Fairly entertaining.

i agree expendables is not a great story but i dont think anyone really thought it was gonna be, bit like commando when schwarz went to that island & killed abt 500 soldiers. i waited a long time for expendables to be released & cant wait for the sequel
aint got time go to the cinema so gonna download salt as it looks pretty good

watched cemetary junction last night, had sod all to watch, but i gotta say i really enjoyed it, in my opinion ricky gervais cannot be a lead role in a movie but when he plays a smaller part he really shines. it set in 1970 & tells the story of 3 lads & a girl, its a great story with plenty of laughs. defo worth a watch
That film is a crock of shit. My wife was watching that this evening and I was almost out of my mind with despair at the awfulness of it.
What a load of crap!
Tomorrow The Incredibles is on and though not Pixars best, it is alright. I shall watch that.

re: last movie you watched (Flag Up SPOILERS)
saw The Ghost last night which was pretty good - apart from one of the most ridiculous endings in cinema history (i will say no more)
Also watched Shutter Island recently (can't remember if i mentioned it before on here). Thought it was shite and the twist I predicted after watching the trailer turned out to be correct - now i'm no genius so if you ask me that makes it a shit film. Or a daft trailer ??
