I agree, those WBO rankings don't make sense. Boytsov hasn't fought anyone to make him #1, and Wilder being ranked at #5 is ridiculous considering the opposition he's been in with.
But Kubrat Pulev has earned his #1 IBF ranking, he'll be a deserving world title challenger.
Re: Heavyweight Fight Schedule
I dont have any problem with boystov, infact I tihnk he could be(or maybe now could have been) an interesting challenger in the future... he was looking like a good up and comer then he just went missing for about a year came back and fought 2 nobodies and signed with a new promoter and now he is ranked number 1 :S this is pure buying of rankings incase no one ever saw that coming :S
as for puev i concur, fair enoguh for him to be ranked number 1 he has gone through the eliminators and so on

Chagaev is fighting Pudar on the Klitschko-Povetkin card Oct 5.
Boytsov says the fight with Chisora is probably next after his Sep 14 warm-up. It's a wise move - after being in limbo for a long time, with the legal problem of trying to break free of Universum, he needs to fight a decent journeyman (the last was Guinn a year and a half ago) before taking on a tough opponent like Chisora, whom he'll beat when at his best but is a risky opponent right now.
Boytsov Eyes Return on 9/14, But Not Against Chisora - Boxing News

Trust me, Sauerland will put him into big fights. But first, he needs to get settled with his new promoter. Fighting Chisora in London right now would be career suicide, but fighting Chisora later in December or January on a Sauerland card would make sense.
