- yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
Yet another foreign fighter was robbed in the US last night. Why do the public accept that the refs and the judges always protect and help US fighters against guest boxers?
Maybe guest boxers to the US should do like Jeff Lacy did when he fought in Europe – he brought his own ref!.....

A fair ESPN Friday night fight to watch; both would be KOed by Wladimir Klitschko or Nikolai Valuev. As a matter of fact, Samuel Peter could take both out. :-\

The fight was horrible & to classify Ray Austin as "a real "big" (6' 6", 250 Lbs.) awkward dude" is way off mark.
He's big...but he aint awkward.
Ibrag is not going to meet his hype & that was no robbery.

Generally the US judges are more corrupt than the city of Newark under Mayor Sharp James

Please man there ar plenty of US fighters that have gotten the shaft in Europe, so stop your pissing and moaning...
Re: - yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
A few weeks ago everyone was saying how Warriors got the home town call with Urango.
Now, on the same network, in the same arena, another Warriors boxer loses and you say he was robbed?
So which is it? Does Warriors get the home town calls or do they not?
If anything this was a MUCH MUCH more important bout for Warrors. So if they are going to 'buy' a win, this would have been the one to get.
Re: - yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
Sultan wasn't robbed. I think a draw is a fine outcome because neither of these guys should be fighting Wlad. However, if I was going to call someone the winner it would be Sultan.
Ray Austin may not be "awkward" but if someone calls him a speed fighter I'll eat my hat. What a sloth...
Re: - yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
It was a draw. Cry me a river.
Re: - yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
I agree, draw was a fair call.
Just proves that Warriors is not getting the home town decisions. This easily could have gone Sultan's way without much controversy.

What goes around comes around. This is just payback for those Europeans robbing Jeff Lacy of his hard earned win over Joe Calzaghe.
Re: - yet another foreigner robbed in the US, Sultan Ibragimov
Like others have said, there is no way either of these guys should be fighting Wlad Klitshcho. I'm sure Wlad wants an easy opponent, but come on! And this was hardly a blatent robbery, I had Sultan winning by a point but he is hardly "Mike Tyson, except technically a little better" like his boxing coach claimed. He's just a ugly flabby little Russian troll. Remember also that Austin should have gotten credit for TWO knockdowns, not just one. The fight was decent with some good spots but not great like Joe Tessitore was claimiing. Wasn't a bad robbery either. A draw saved em both from goin to the slaugher at the hands of a giant fairy(Wlad).

It wasn't robbery. It was just a case of Sultan showing how overrated he really was.

I agree that a lot of forreign boxers are getting robbed by judges and cheated by refs and I have posted here about this very thing.
