Mayweather vs Cotto/Hatton/Winky

cotto- there is something about this guy that i cant work out, everytime he boxes i feel hes missing something but i cant put my finger on what it is, he has so much potential but i think if he comes up agaisnt floyd, floyd will beat him with ease, every fight i have seen with cotto he has been rocked and if it wasnt for the lack of experience or lack of stamina his oppenents would have finished him off (i know he has fort quality guys i mean compared to mayweathers ability) , in mayweathers case he does have the stamina and experience to finish him off.

Mayweather tko 8th round

Hatton- hattons last fight is nothing to go by he has allways had problems with southpaws the last southpaw he faced was eamon magee and he put him down for the first time in his career, collazo hit him alot more times than he has been hit before but i think this was to so with the southpaw style not the weight ( well maybe a lil to do weight) i live in the uk and have seen most footage available of the hitman and although he is a pressure fighter with tremendous stamina but i dont think this will work agasint pretty boy floyd. Hatton is a wreckless fighter and gets caught by stupid shots, floyd is a pin point fighter and would hit hatton with ease after the 5th round, i would give hatton the first 5 rounds then maywather would work him out and take him to school i respect hatton alot but another factor is he gets cut very easily and fighting someone as slick and pin point as floyd he would open up some deep cuts on hattons face.

Mayweather wins on points or on cuts

Winky- now this is the fight i want to see, winky would be the stronger man going into the fight as of the more experience fighting at bigger weights, winky is known for is super jab and his stalking style, although floyd is a brilliant mover would he be able to get away from winky (taylor couldnt) mayweather is known for his counterpunching but would he be able to counterpunch pistons like jabs in his face all night, maybe maybe not, if there is anyone who can beat mayweather at the moment its winky, every1 else is to reckless with there punches and mayweather with his pin point punches would take them apart, winky has a shell like defense with an orsume jab this is the way to beat mayweather pound him with the jab then unleash when hes on the ropes.

I would have to disagree with the Cotto part although a good analysis. After the Gatti fight Mayweather was asked about his next opponents. When it came to Cotto, Mayweather shrugged it off saying he was too young. That in boxing terms is "I am scared." Looking at Mayweather's resume he lacks a serious challenge which makes it hard to tell how good he actually is. Cotto doesn't possess the attention that Mayweather gets as he is not from the States, so he is stuck fighting everyone and anyone. That is why I believe Cotto could take Mayweather, as he has had the tougher route.

I'm a huge supporter of Cotto...but not against Floyd. The Brusselles fight was a barometer for Cotto & the disappointment & shock was all over his face at ringside.

Cotto doesn't want any part of Floyd...you can bet your ass or house on that.

Mayweather would walk through Cotto about like he did with Gatti...but it might take a few rounds more.

If you honestly believe that Floyd hasn't had a real test...you either haven't looked far enough into his resume...or you just aren't familiar with fighters in the lower weight classes.

Floyd's resume reads like a who's who of 130-135.

hatton would just have to charge at mayweather and make him fight hes fight and go to the body alot thats only chance hattons got

I agree he would get to mayweathers body but no where near as people make out, i think most people dont realize how good pretty boy floyd is of course he is going to get hit in this fight but mayweather will just pick him off all night hatton wont see that left hook coming

The thing about Floyd is this...you have to be able to get inside or actually...get to him...& so far...no one has been able to & if they come close...it aint that effective...the Judah fight is a good example.

Judah got in there several times...but in the end...it turned into a one sided affair.

I honestly think that the Baldo fight is going to surprise a lot of us.

Carlos has one hell of a chin & seems to be nearly unstoppable of late.

I just wonder how that will factor in to fighting a guy with brittle fists.

i can see this mayweather vs baldo fight being 1 hell of a scrap, i think mayweather will get hit in this fight more than any other fight hes been involved in. I would give the first few rounds to baldo then i can see mayweather picking it up from round 5 and taking the fight away from baldo, but i still think mayweather is gona b shooken up baldo is so tough

Sorry silverboy I have to dissagree on the Cotto part if evry fight he was in you saw him get rocked then you have only seen the corley fight and torres fight, out of his 27 fights he has been badly hurt in 2. and if corley is not an experienced fighter then who is? and as far as condition of his opponents did you not see all the wicked body shots cotto landed on both of them, i mean how many fighters can take those shots from a puncher like cotto and have their conditioning through the fight. I think people forget Cotto has skill and heart and that is what got him through the hard 2 fights not his opponents. I do agree that mayweather would win a ud against cotto though, but you cant deny his boxing ability or power, broken faces, jaws, ribs, dislocated shoulders, giant swelling of the face,and many cuts prove his power. Thats just the way I see Cotto as fighter.
