A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
What would have been the outcome if MAB faced PBF at 130? I'll tell you what Fireworks. Being the master boxer that he is, I say he would find a way through that Floyd excellent defense and take Floyd out of his game and win by UD. What do you guys think?
Another thought, Floyd would give EM trouble, not as much as he would give MAB.
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
I'm sorry but floyd at 130 beats mab,em and pac.MAB would have the best chance but floyd at 130 is too fast and strong for any of them
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
Primed Barrera was at 122lbs IMO, I do not see him beating Lil Floyd at 130...
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
I'd give Manny the best chance of beating him at superfeather

MAB the night he beat NAZ was on a mission. NAZ almost looked intimidated and was getting manhandled. I still think NAZ did ok in this fight considering he lost and all it was not one of the worst beatings I have ever witnessed. Nothing to be ashamed about but fighters handle losing in different ways and NAZ had never lost. I think losing early in ones career can be most benificial to a majority of fighters and it eventually sets you up a lot better for that inevitable loss in the future because lets face it folks, there are not many fighters who go out on top, let alone un-defeated. I really dont see why boxing fans make such a big deal about losing. It's a part of life. The balance can not always be tipped to one side, that would defeat the laws of all things that exsist.
In closing, the MAB we saw on the night he beat NAZ, would have been a great battle between PBF and MAB. Was NAZ ever at a level that PBF is? Can we even compare NAZ to PBF? I say no, for the mere fact that PBF has been tested more than NAZ had been before he decided to quit.
But to try and aswer the question, MAB vs PBF prime @ 130? I say MAB only cus I am a MAB fan ;D
The question here is when is/was MAB's prime and when is/was PBF's prime.
What the hell am I talking about?
LMAO. Sorry I think I went way off here but what ever.
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
I like MAB but I would have to think Pretty Boy Floyd would have beaten him pretty sound

ner thats not true,
i feel like the reason for pbf bieng as worshipped as he is , and why roy jones was so worshipped is the elusiveness and skill level, these things dont mean they fought anyone that was really on the bery top level, i mean in case of roy and naz, naz fought a couple of good fighters ie kelley!! and roy fought a couple: bhop and toney( few others ), its just that pretty boy floyd has seemed to have been tested more then naz though in actual fact its more likely to have just been excellent fight choices and good game plans that makes him undefeated with such good names on his record, im looking forward to seeing floyd stepping right up to the top and taking on even better competition in the future which i know he will starting with baldomir and then maybe winky or oscar, maybe both then we'll see how great he truely is if he can pull thse wins off.
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
You said that's not true.
What was not true? You lost me.

Barerra beat Hamed by making him lead and countering his shots with some speed and taking advantage of Hamed's breaking of the rules because Hamed swung wildly. Not once did Hamed stick a jab in the face of Barerra. It wasn't just what Barerra did it was what Hamed didn't do. And all the things he didn't do, Mayweather does and he specializes in it. Mayweather would beat Barerra badly. Barerra would be waiting all day and get picked off and pot shotted by Mayweather because everytime Barerra tried for a response Floyd would make him miss.
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
Floyd would beat MAB comparably to the way Pac-man did, Floyd too fast, strong, Defensive minded, and smarter, No fair to even bring Naz into a conversation with Floyd....Naz isint in the same universe as Floyd, Floyd is just as fast but is so fundamently sound and accurate to go along with that lockdown defense Naz didnt fill in the gaps to well and Floyd would make him pay....Naz was just athletic and powerful but was a technical and fundamental mess Floyd would hand Naz his azz!!!!
Floyd is excellent and supberb for a few reasons but the main is that he is smart..He is just as athletic as a prime Roy Jones, but Floyd's polished Fundamental boxing smarts, skills and defense are the things he relies on 1st , His athleticism is secondary, Floyd's Boxing-attributes and Ring smarts are as solid as anyone whoever stepped in a ring

I agree 100%
Naz had very good speed and could beat a lot of above average fighters with his unorthodox ringisms , but his boxing fundamentals were shit, poor form and so on would have been his demise against Floyd , huge mismatch IMO
Re: A Prime MAB vs PBF at 130
Correct Naz cannot box.
MAB cannot outbox a mover-boxer like PBF
