well unless ive missed something it says he would like to leave newbridge sometime it doesnt mean he will in his next fight so dont jump to conclusions can u copy and paste it where it says *i will not fight kessler* because i couldnt see it

Calzaghe is a god damn farce. He fights one fucking good fight in 10 years and now he's back to his old ways of fighting no hopers. He needs to prove some shit.

as soon as we hear rumors of a possible unification fight with Kessler he fucking shoots it down with a bullshit excuse. Joe Calzaghe doesnt have a glass chin or a glass hand, he should be called China Heart Joe

and i'm the same. i am gonna be very pissed off if this fight doesnt happen. to me it makes perfect sence for calzaghe to fight kessler and unify the division. but i'm still holidng out for what frank warran comes out with next month when he anounces joe's next opponent.

I think Calzaghe is a damn fine fighter, but if he doesnt fight Kessler, then I too will be saddened...

If Calzaghe fights a mediocre opponent next time out then It really will be a waste of time...

Calzaghe has so little time left, and for him and Warren to even contemplate serving up any more dross will just be insulting....im hoping for a big fight...

let's face it, if Joe is gonna fight J. Taylor instead of Kessler I'm not bothered. but if he's gonna fight another Evans Ashira then I won't be watching his fight.

I really really wish that Joe does something else than the German Chump Sven Otte, the guy has no shame to say on German Television that he retired on top having faced all the top guys of his category (pretty silly). I mean, Joe needs to do something else than just facing Good challengers ! he needs to fight the best at all costs : Winky, Jermain, Tarver, Hopkins.

But Joe has the tools to beat these guys, something than the german chump never had.

part of me can understand why calzaghe would rather fight taylor than kessler. from what i've seen of kessler taylor is a better fighter and would probably be a better name on his record (but if you look at joe's record it doesn't look to me like getting the best names on it has ever been his number one priority). taylor (being a yank himself) is obviously a bigger name in the states and therefore joe would be able to showcase him self over there a lot more by fighting taylor than he would if he took the kessler fight. a taylor fight would make calzaghe more pennies than a kessler fight aswell.
but on the other hand it looks to me that the vast majority of people (including me) would rather see joe fight kessler and unify the division.

i think kessler is being a bit to over hyped on this site sometimes. he's hardly a phenomenon. i think taylor is a better boxer than kessler and if he became a bit more of an aggresive fighter i would be really impressed by him. and i can see joe's way of thinking if he's out to impress the yanks and make the dollar. but i would much rather see him fight kessler and unify.
