The reborn Audley vs Skelton...you call it!
Ok Audley had a great fast start and done a number on Danny Williams.
However, against Skelton it will be different! I dont think Skelton has ever been stopped and I have a feeling that Audley will lose any fight that goes beyond six rounds!
Basically, all we learned from the Williams / Harrison fight is that if Audley start fast and his opponent is cold...Aud can win.

Thing is Audleys produced some of best stuff late on in fights. ;)

Last Williams fight round 11 ;)

Re: The reborn Audley vs Skelton...you call it!
To be fair he had ten rounds rest before hand ;D
I think this win will boost Audley and make it a slightly closer fight but I would still fancy Skelton to outpoint him. If Audley can come through against someone like Skelton then thats a reason to celebrate. He will challenge Audley in all the areas that question marks still remain.

Skelton wont give Audley any trouble at all, you can put your house on it
Re: The reborn Audley vs Skelton...you call it!
I think if Audley can win in style against Skelton he has to be taken seriously.
Skelton will be on him like a land slide and will land punches, heads and elbows against him.If he can come through that he can be considerd a real contender.

So how do you think Audley will beat Skelton? KO? He'll never stop Skelton, never!
Points? Well if Audley learns to use his jab as a weapon and scores with it then maybe. But I cant see him dancing around Skelton for to long!

Styles sweet, I think it wont go past 5 . we will see.
Re: The reborn Audley vs Skelton...you call it!
I wouldnt fancy Audley to stop Skelton either. When Danny was at arms length he could tee up those uppercuts but Skelton wont stay there. He will be on his chest all night and make Audley tough it out.

Actually if he performs like he did against Williams I could see him stopping Skelton. He hit Danny with some lovely counters and just took him apart. Remember how in the last round of the first Williams Skelton fight Danny almost had Skelton out on his feet, and that was about the only piece of activity from Danny that whole fight, even though somehow he got the decision.

A couple of hours ago, most people wouldn't have guessed he could take Williams apart within a couple of rounds either. I mean, Danny was screwed from the first round onwards, so let's just wait and see. Personally I think Audley would win against Skelton, I always thought this, but this is boxing -- you never know what's gonna happen until it's happened!
With the right trainer and the right mental attitude, Audley can be a very dangerous man. It's taken him a couple of defeats and a whole lot of humiliation to get to where he is now, and to doubt him would would be foolish. Let's hope he carries on in the way he started tonight against Danny.
And poor old Danny, I felt sorry for him tonight. Best of luck to him, should he choose to carry on fighting.
