some fucker tampering with my bank account

I checked my bank this morning online to find that a card transaction had been made that I know nothing off. It was made at a time when I know I was at home, besides that the card is five minutes old and I havent made any card transactions at all with it, all I have dome is take some cash from a machine. I phoned the 24 hour line and they said that my pin number had been used to make the transaction. The dont know the details of it yet so they have said to wait until tomorrow so they know where and what it was used for. Ive used to card twice now in ATM's and both times Ive been paranoid about it being skimmed so I was really carefull.

Its a new account so thankfully there was very little cash in there at the time. Anyone have anything like this happen?

Its doing my head in this. I shredded anything from the bank, never ask for receipts, gave anyone evils that breathed in my direction whilst I was at the machine. I fucked about with the machine so much before putting my card in that it probably looked like I was trying to fit a skimming device ;D

I have got my card details registered so many places, i.e Play.com etc that it wouldn't take much for somebody to mug me off

maybe the postie is in on it. Tons of mail fraud going on.

Should I just beat the little fat fucker up on the off chance? Might make me feel better too.

Nah defo not that, I pay a year at a time.

Ive only used the card once to take out £20, hasnt been out of the wallet other than that.

All sorted, it was those wankers at lovefilm.com. What they do is take a test payment(nothing actually comes out of the account) to verify that the account is good. Bit naughty though, although they havent taken any money they have stopped me from taking it as it shows up as zero funds. If I didnt have money from elsewhere I'd be up the creek.

who you with? shudn't matter anyhow your coverd by anyhow i believe, about 4-6 months ago my mum went into her branch (local town one evryones knows everyone) and after putting money in or some shit they women turned around and was like "you know your almost 2 grand overdrwan right" somehow someone had her details and had spent like two grand making online bets! she had the money back form the bank within like a week

P.S. could you please keep a bit more money in the account to make it worth my while to scortch your IP address from saddo,Proxy serve your home comp.scan your bank account on-line pin number,hire a thug to make a fake card and use your pin at a ATM. All to drain your account and get $14 !!!!
