Re: REID SNUBS FROCH OFFER
wtf is froch doing still defending his longsdale belt, let alone calling out reid!
he claims he wnats to fight people like calzaghe and kessler, yet he wants to fight robin fucking reid and keep on defending his longsdale, wtf? go after the european belt, call out people who are ranked highly up, hell Tsypko (guy who lacy fought last) would make for a good fight,
Froch thinks he is going to get a world title shot anytime soon by fighting Reid? does froch actualy want to fight any of the champs? he maybe making noise to look like he wants a shot, but secretly waiting and hoping cazalghe retires or moves up and kessler moves up to LHW?

A win over Reid would actualy be advantageous to Froch, he is clutching at straws IMO though....he's too old with too little fights, he knows he needs to step it up....
But against who? Noone is interested...

Mundin? soliman? even markus byuer if he could? chase the european belt? call Tsypko out? all these would be a big + imo for him should he win, and would defo move him very close to a mandetory with one of the champs

At SMW Reid would be a decent fight. It would mean he could beat somebody more rusty than most and has been in the ring with other champs...a very sensible fight...
I dont see Froch stepping it up and being very much. Just my opinion.

i don't think he could do a great deal at world level either, but when hes talking about calzaghe and kessler, claiming they don't wanan fight him etc, its stupid imo talking about fighting robin reid at this point of both their careers

Froch is full of shite. Robin Reid is as far as he can go at this point...Froch is on the level of Manfredo IMO. Nothing much at all.

i think he could pick up a european belt at SMW tbh
Re: REID SNUBS FROCH OFFER
I'm actually a huge Carl Froch fan. I'd like to see him get a big fight but at the moment he seems to be busy clearing out the domestic scene.
Reid wouldn't be that bad a fight for him. It's still a great domestic fight even if Reid's best days are behind him

Re: REID SNUBS FROCH OFFER
Angel Vazquez. That's the muthafucka. Took me awhile to remember his name. But that exactly who Froch reminds me of. I'm not sure if you guys are even familiar with Vazquez. He was a Featherweight/Junior Lightweight. Like Froch he started to make noise at almost 30 years old. He had a nice pretty undefeated record. If anybody could knock out Nassem Hamed with one shot, he was the one. Well that's what they said anyway. What happened? He got exposed by Victor Polo in a title eliminator. He was in so over his head it was shocking. He tried to make a comeback on ESPN's FNF but quit in a fight against a club fighter named I think Evan Valle after 3 or 4 rounds. He never fought again. I see Froch ending up the same way. He has done nothing to justify the over hype he's getting. Ya'll can say I'm bad mouthing him if you want, but those are solid facts.

a lot of brits agree with you on froch, i don't think there are many in the SMw who would embarres froch right now 'coz apart from a select few SMw is fairly week; but i dont see froch taking a world title unless people move up, retire or this guy fighting for the IBF is crap

You know what Preme? You use to post a lot of nonsense...ah who am I kidding? You still do. But I'm going to give your credit. Your not a mind-less groupie like some of these other British cats. Who wouldn't have a bad thing to say about Hatton and Calzaghe if they got knocked out by Paul Malignaggi and Scott Pemberton. I noticed you try and call it like it is (try, I said). You criticize the local favorites when they deserve it. And offer strong opinions. Good for you. Violent D just might pull you off his remedial list if you continue the good work
