Most Respectable Active Fighters
First, i want to say i respect anyone who fights in the ring with the exception of James Butler and maybe a couple others, but some guys I have a ton of respect for because of their heart, conduct, etc. For me Diego Corrales, Winky Wright, Hatton, and Barrera come to mind.

That's unfair Mick.
Zab gets a raw deal. Jay Nady was wrong and deserved that stool thrown at him for the good of the sport.
The punch to Floyd's nuts was an accident, and so was the one to the back of the head.
And the brawl was all Roger's fault, Zab was just trying to keep the peace when he was throwing those wild haymakers.

Re: Most Respectable Active Fighters
Bernard Hopkins - People may say he is boring (which I don't understand because every time you watch him fight is equivilent to a 30 minute boxing lesson), but you can't deny his unique discipline and his warrior spirit. I didn't much care for his attitude after the Taylor losses, but I understand that when you've been on top for as long as B-Hop, losing a close decision has to be a huge blow to your ego. Either way I respect the hell out of him for what he has done and continues to do in the ring. He's never ducked anyone (as far as I know), he's never undertrained and taken someone lightly, he comes to fight every time he gets in the ring.
Floyd Mayweather Jr - I respect the hell out of him for his in-ring work, and I also have a lot of sympathy for him because I feel that he isn't getting the respect and credit he deserves. He absolutely dominated Baldomir with his masterful skills and everyone jumped on his back saying he was "boring" (and to those people I say maybe you should watch the UFC/MMA instead). He comes off as brash and arrogant, but thats a quality I really like in fighters.
