Titooooooo Speaks!Gives Support to De La Hoya, Cotto
In a recent interview with Primera Hora , former champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad revealed ives De La Hoya the edge in the fight because of his size and experience.
"I went to see how Oscar was doing and spoke with him. I wished him good luck in the fight and I told that he has all the potential to beat Mayweather"
"As everyone knows, I spent a good part of my career with promoter Don King and so did Zab Judah. We fought on several cards together where I was the main event and Judah was on the undercard. We still talk when we see each other, but as a Boricua, I give my support to Cotto. At the moment of the truth, blood weighs more to me than water," Trinidad said.

This here ain't got NOTHING to do with anything else but the fact that Zab ranted about how much Tito was backing him up and how Tito was saying Zab would beat Cotto. Zab said all of this thats why I responded with what I did. :)

Alright, from that standpoint I offer this into evidence.
Tito says he supports Cotto as a Boricua.
Zab said that Tito said that he would beat Cotto.
Both can be considered as two truths, since support is different then picking him to fight. A lot of people support Arturo Gatti but know he'll never win again(unless its against a bum)
But I won't act like I know everything, Tito probably said to Judah what he said to Oscar and that is "I wished him good luck in the fight and I told that he has all the potential to beat Mayweather" However replace 'Mayweather' with 'Cotto' and that's probably what he told Zab.
I think Zab stretched the truth in saying that Tito said he would dominate Cotto. But I don't think I'd be stretching it if I said that Tito probably said something around "good luck in the fight and you have all the potential to beat Cotto" and Zab replied it differently. Both is possible. But all in all it doesn't matter to me who Tito says ones, he won't be in the ring to face either of them so when it comes down to it Zab and Cotto are going to fight and unless Tito has some sort of magic power his opinion won't influence the outcome, only the picks :)
Can we agree on that?

Maj, you know as well as I do Zab knew he was cool with Tito so he put words in his mouth. And Cotto may not have faced someone as fast as Zab, but the only people remotely resembling Cotto, Zab has lost to. Speed and power alone don't get you over at the top level. Against Rueben Galvan and Cosme Rivera it does, but not at the title level.

He's faster then Baldomir. Better footspeed and a lot shorter, quicker punches.

What about Cory Spinks? He beat him once in two attempts. Roman Karmazin almost beat Spinks. Obviously, he had more then Spinks that night. But Zab, so many people say oh he's the best on his best night, well he's had 1 best night against legit competition in like 7 outings. He's dangerous but he's not even close to a complete fighter and I don't see him upsetting Cotto.
