apparently PAC MAN just lost his election and can now focus back on the sport of boxing. arum claims a date of oct 6th is slated for his next bout with 4 possible opponents guzman, berto, barrera or valero.
kinda happy PAC can fully focus on the sport now!

I thought he was supposed to be the most popular man in the Phillipines ever, with Freddy Roach being number 2?
Don't tell me the HBO team have been exaggerating his popularity all these years :-\

I'm not yet sure if he lost, but hey just because ur popular in the philippines doesn't mean you automatically will win a election. Pac wants to help his people but his people knows whats best for him and that is focusing on boxing not getting involved in politics. This is one defeat I'm glad pac got.

where did you hear the news? I know the election just started monday in the P.I which was sunday here. I thought it would take longer then 2 or 3 days to finish the count or even the voting.

apparently, filipino voters is now wiser than we would think. The last time i checked they were voting those who are more popular like there artistas and other popular candidates and specially those who give the most money for their own benefit. Now it seems, they want someone who could prepare a better future for there country. a good baby step towards realizing the true power of democracy. CC to all filipinos and more power. ;)
