Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF...
That shit about roy is just ridiculous..i think he's jealous that he didn't get to train a freakshow like roy...
and there he goes again promoting himself..the only oscar-pbf rematch out does the first is if he's involved...damn he wants the spotlight..he should just get chad ready and ride him to the top maybe.

Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF...
What a dweeb...when you buy into your own crap, it's really a shame.
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF...
What did he say that was out of line... ??? I havent heard a trainer yet that hasnt made himself out to be better than the next guy. Not to mention he was very respectful about his opinion unlike Roger Mayweather who was just a friggin prick >:mad
And he totally told the truth about Roy Jones, he was always more athletic than fundamentally skilled, why do you think he dropped off so dramatically..
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF.
when you watch a clip of roy jones and then of mayweather. and then tell me roy was not exceptional fighter.

roy jones and see the things he did in the ring he brought the matrix in to the ring never have i ever saw some one do that like roy.
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF...
Some people are just jealous of how good people are love him or hate him Roy Jones Jr was exceptional and very talented and if anybody says different then they don't know about boxing imo or there just plain jealous.
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF.
mayweather would never beat roy jones on a pound for pound match.
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF.
That picture of Floyd sr. in the article... holy crap, he is E.T.! :o

You can't tell me with a straight face that Roy Jones is a Fundamentally sound fighter with exceptional BOXING skill.
Roy was EXTREMELY athletic, fast and strong, thats how he won fights he was always the superior human being in that ring...

He was very unorthdox fighter but he still had some very good skills he had goob jab when he used and amongst other things yes he didn't do what normal fighters do but that doesn't take away what a great fighter he was and Floyd Sr is talking out his a**.
Re: Floyd Sr. Say's RJJ was never exceptional and that oscar really lost to PBF.

CC. Anybody saying Roy Jones was a exceptional boxer is an idiot. RJJ was fucking amazing, but a lot of that was based of pure, god-given, freakish athleticism. He was kind of like the Michael Vick of boxing in his prime. He was exciting and amazing but not techincally sound at all.

If your implying that im an idiot because of what i said actually read what i said did i say he was technically sound or was exceptional meaning technically ?? no he had some good skills with his jab and amongst other things that he done bloody good otherwise he wouldn't of got where he was without some skills and no of course he wasn't technically sound like a Mayweather or ect but he still was exceptional fighter meaning his athleticism his speed and basically having every single strong stat power speed reflexes ect.

no roy wasn't fundamentally sound...but that doesn't mean he wasn't exceptional...the fact that roy didn't use the traditional techs of boxing it what made him exceptional...example by definition everyone else had to use the jab to set up other punches, roy led with hooks sometimes with uppecuts he by definition was the exception...
"he doesn't need a jab" - george foreman
"never before have i ever heard you say about a fighter , he doesn't need a jab" - jim lampley
"and you'll never hear me say it again" - george foreman
if that's not exceptional i don't know what is....not to mention we'll see another PBF before we see another roy jones jr...
