Now im not a Calzaghe fan but if he beats Kessler i will hold my hands up and say Calzaghe is a great supermiddle champ i recognise Kessler as a really good supermiddle champ so if Calzaghe beats him their will be no excuses on my part hope you Calzaghe fans feel the same.
trust me dude if CALZAGHE loses all people will say is he past it and kessler in his prime i bet you money that will be the case if they ever match and kessler wins even though is kessler a good fighter.

80% of the Calzaghe fans are just on the bandwagon anyway, they'll jump onto the Kessler one quick enough. Calzaghe couldn't really sell tickets (even in Wales) until he faught Lacy (In Manchester ;) ) so if he does lose you won't get excuses, you'll get people saying he was just over rated, which will piss me off big time because both fighters belong in the top pool in 160-175, and would have at least a level chance at beating other guys around their weight (Winky, B-hop, Taylor, RJJ, Tarver, Johnson etc etc )
cant wait till Joe wins this (if it ever happens) because so many people were saying he was bottling it, now that hes shown he will fight Kessler, he's gona prove that he's the best fighter there's been at SMW.

I understand where you're comin from...but in boxing where your hands are the only thing used..if they are that bad he shouldn't fight..and sure shouldn't have that hanging around as something to use as reason why he looses IF he ever does.....i just don't want to see kessler win and have any credit taken from him by people popping up with his hands were hurt, he was drugged, the water wasn't the right tempature etc.....i actually don't think the calzagehe fans have too much to be worried about anyways joe knows how to win bad hands and all......

Yes he suffers with his hands but is'nt it how you addapt as a champion if this situation happens plus am i right in thinking once a broken hand numbs up you can throw it hard again.
I agree with you, I was saying that bust up hands will not be an excuse from me. Calzaghe has won with damaged hands before and he may need to again. He knows the score with the hands...Quote:
