The difference in size was too much. Tyson would be able to impose himself on Jones. Jones could be evasive, yes, but Tyson is not Ruiz. Tyson is throwing bombs and once one of those is landing....a launchpad would be neccessary....
Yeah but Tyson isn't gonna be able to chase Jones for 6 rounds and still be as intense.
There is no doubt in my mind that Roy Jones at Heavyweight could beat Tyson. ESPECIALLY the Mike Tyson whom you're talking about him fighting. It's not all about size. I remember people saying Spinks was too small and that Jermain would impose his will on him and it didn't happen. Jones is faster and has better boxing skill and speed kills size and Jones knew how to use it and also had a very developed jab at Heavyweight. If they ever fought, Jones would have won. Especially against a Mike Tyson who was swinging wild, open to get countered by anything and completely avoided defense, which was the Mike Tyson that would have been fighting Roy.
