Rower James Cracknell brutally kayoed in charity bout - VIDEO !!

just read about this in morning paper and found footage.

He was fighting cricketer Kerry Walmsley for charity - seemd to be given away a bit of weight :-\

Anyway just shows how tough the sport is

Not too impressed with Walmsley celebrating though whilst James lay there out cold and obviously in distress :-\

Yeah saw this when the site was down. Dave 'Syd' Lawrence is a good one as well, poor fucker he fought took a right shelling.

That looked really off the Cracknell one. I know they are not boxers but that bloke looked like he had half a clue what he was doing and Cracknell despite being an amazing athlete was completely helpless. These things are supposed to be a bit of fun and a chance to raise some cash, not for overmatched non boxers to get their heads stoved in.

Adam Hollioak and Eric Rush was a decent litle scrap. Rush was just a bit too big and strong for hi though.

Welcome to a proper sport James ;D

Check out the Pinsent and Cracknell head to head and say it isnt a proper sport.

I can't imagine anyone ever being to strong for Adam Holioake that guy is just a pocket monster , got to get that bout to me Memphis .

I cant find the video anywhere mate, its strange that Cracknell is doing the rounds but not Syd Lawrence which was equally brutal. Adam Holioke knew how to fight a bit but he was just a bit outgunned, Rush just kept ploughing into him and got the nod.

Didn't even know about Sid Lawerence , was he the fella outa Estenders ?

Think i remeber him training with the Maloneys but he could'nt lay off the becks and the ciggies . Who Sparked him ?

Honestly I'm dead against people with no fitness fighting i know its a bit of fun but i can see somebody getting hurt .

Hopefully Cracknell is okay and can grab another Gold Medal at the Chinkie Olympics ^-^

That was a sickener of a right hand, and the way Cracknell went down looked pretty horrible, but he didn't seem to be too angry about it. It may be for charity, but it's still boxing, and people can get hurt. If Cracknell would have stuck to what he was doing early doors, not looking to trade too much, and punching off the back foot, he wouldn't have had that KO.

I din't think Walmsey did anything wrong whatsoever, he just went to his corner and waited respectfully for Cracknell to come around. He raised his arms the second he put him down which anybody would have done apart from that he was completely subdued.

nobody does that much for charity.....
