With a 4th round KO of Castillo and a win over Mayweather, Hatton will probably be Fighter of the Year 2007,2005....
He is a 140 lb. undisputed 2X IBF , WBA champ, at 147 WBA champ if he beats Mayweather 147 WBC as well and probably ring champ at 140 and 147...
PAC and R Marquez need to fight each other to seal the P4P#1 IMO...

I'd have to give it to manny pac....it's a toss up in my opinion except when you look at who both fighters have fought and beaten in which case i'd have to give manny the edge...
Rafael Marquez is p4p #2. If Mayweather loses or retires, Marquez becomes number 1.
No,I still think overall,Marquez,Manny and the winner of the BHop-Winky fight will have accomplished more.Just because you defeat the reigning P4P number 1 does not automatically make you number 1,ask JT ;D
hhhmmm i've also been thinking about that question in reverse...does pbf get any credit for beating hatton....or will it be another cirumstance where he's supposed to....so people focus more on what floyd didn't do instead of the main thing. That he won again.
Hes gotta get consideration. Think about it Ricky is a great inside fighter if he can dismantle the p4p champ what does that say? There are some great fighters out there. Winky, Hop, Marq, Pacman etc but Ricky is scary when hes at his bestRicky v.s. is going to be explosive because Ricky is gunna make it that way then we will know where he stands.

I guess i would have to say if hatotn beat floyd then floyd was overrated, coz hatton's style is tailor made for sum1 like floyd, but truth is id bet my house floyd not just wins, but stops him.
can't believe im saying this but, im with VD Rafa goes number 1 if floyd losses, wont happen tho...

I voted yes. Right now Floyd is P4P #1 so on an even weight scale he should be able to beat anyone below him. If Hatton dethrones him then he should be #1. Now if Winky beat Floyd I wouldn't necessarily make him #1 because he possesses a natural weight advantage over Floyd therefore negating the whole P4P ideology. OK now I'm confusing myself gotta go. :headscratch:
like I said if Hatton wins he will probably be Fighter of the year again... thats 2 out of 3 years of having the best year in boxing... I think that is pretty big reason he should get the consideration over R Marquez and PAC...

floyd aside rafaf is the most comlete boxer in the world right now...
Its hard ot get a judge on mayweather because of his weight jumping..
but rafa can go toe-to-toe, box, good speed, good accuracy, good footwork, chin aint that bad i dont think - his is the complete package right now and is one more big name away form world recognision IMO... before u bite my head of VD he isnt that big outside of the us, and juging by his last fight turn out (totaly amazed me) not reall that big in the us either...
whislt welter is a bit out of his depth hatton showed agasint a pure boxer he is seriously lacking, and make no mistake about it, the only thing he learnt from the collazo fight was to punch and hold and thats not in the rules... whilst hatton will no doubt be back in the p4p list for the castillo win, i am yet to see how he fairs off against a boxer like malanagi, mayweather, mosley, rematch with collazo or even judah...
My verdict is still out on pac as well, whislt is he very exciting, whens the last time he fought a boxer at his natural weight who wasnt shot? last time he done that morales beat him... in fairness to pac now the only real one out there would be JMM and that i would hope is made after barrera...
