BOXING AND SEX

i was just wondering as most coaches and many boxer's say you shouldn't have sex some time before your fight what's the logic behind this ???

Logic is to build up testosterone and energy and be in prime condition for fight.
Psychologically it builds a state of readiness and also as Lennox so eloquently put it "gives u something to look forward to."

Thats close to the truth
You gotta lay off it in the 24 hours before a fight,because no matter what position you do it in,to do it well,you strain your thighs

Well it is a medical fact that sex too close to a fight....( unlike the old days when it was rumored you should go weeks without it) causes the whole body to be weak for a brief time....You should not have sex at least a week before fighting.....

Believe it or not there are a lot and I mean a lot of vitimins and such your body looses at the big moment :o....

Takes a bit to build back up.....Plus the natrual aggression that builds up from not getting any

IF they shouldnt have sex before a fight why dont they just get married, they will never have to worry about it again. ;D

True & I think some guys use it as a motivational tool, they see their opponent as the reason why they're not getting any so it helps them take out that aggression on him during the fight.

maybe some do?....I guess I would be willing to beat the hell out of the guy preventing me from sex for 6 weeks

yeah Daxx & some guys are in training for 2 months or more so they're really ticked come fight time.

I can't stand without sex for 1 month. I can't imagine how much these boxers are suffering.....
