Re: Over and Under "rated" , you decide
1- Roy Jones in 2007 - Under... i think people gave up too quick on him (weight change hurt him).
2- Mike Tyson from 1990 to 1996 - Over... In those 6 years , i feel a bit Over.
3- Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007 - Under...
4- Pernell Whitaker (career) - Under...
5- Arturo Gatti - Rightfully... Hell of a show! except when he was badly mismatched vs Mayweather.
6- Ricky Hatton in 2007 - Over... Good luck against Floyd at 147.
7- Oscar DeLaHoya (career) - Over...
8- Bernard Hopkins (career) - Under... Greatly Under.
9- Antonio Margarito (career) - Over... I feel that Williams proved it.
10- Felix Trinidad in 2007 - Over... And im saying this because people are making a big deal about his bout with Jones Jr. and i think this will be a relatively easy fight for Roy

1.) Roy Jones in 2007 - Over (but underrated in previous years) He hasn't won a significant fight in a long time, and he lost a couple that were pretty significant in the process.
2.) Mike Tyson from 1990 through 1996 - way over rated. He wasn't even a shell of his old self after his stint in the joint.
3.) Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Horribly underrated. He's an all time great and people refuse to recognize it because they don't like his personality. Get the fuck over it already, haters.
4.) Pernell Whitaker (career) - Underrated by anybody that doesn't have him in their top 6 or 7 of all time.
5.) Arturo Gatti - Right where he should be, imo. A legit world champion who hadn't lost in years until Mayweather destroyed him.
6.) Ricky Hatton in 2007 - Right where he should be. I didn't think he had too big of a chance to beat JLC (faded or not) but Hatton proved me wrong in a big way.
7.) Oscar Delahoya - Also right where he should be. He's a 6 weight division world champ (I really only count 5 since he clearly lost to Sturm) and fought everybody (except Forrest) that was out there.
8.) Bernard Hopkins - Right where he should be. Nobody can argue that he isn't a top 5 middleweight of all time.
9.) Antonio Margarito - Could be one of the most overrated of all time. His biggest win came against Joshua Clottey, while he has losses against some garbage ass fighters. Why is he even on this list?
10.) Felix Trinidad in 2007 - Who gives a shit? He hasn't fought in years and even when he did, he was in better shape, active, and at a weight that was only a little bit outside of where he should be fighting. Now he just wants a paycheck. Perhaps Sugar Ray Leonard should come back and fight Chad Dawson so we can all discuss that, too ::**

Re: Over and Under "rated" , you decide
I'm not sure what you meant with the years. Does this mean how he was rated at that time or how we rate him now as to how good he was at the time?
Anyway here it goes.
1- Roy Jones in 2007 Just right, I think most agree he probably will never be a wourld champion again and if he does win a title it won't be for long.
2- Mike Tyson from 1990 to 1996 Wasn't he in jail most of this time? Anyway, post jail Tyson was way overrated. He was never back. Pre Jail Tyson might be slightly overrated but that is only because he was thought of as a boxing god by some.
3- Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007 I think many underrate him and the rest blatenly overrate him. He is the best fighter of his era and an all time great. He is NOT unbeatable and he will find his match soon if he stays at WW.
4- Pernell Whitaker (career) Like Larry Holmes, he was underrated at the time but now as time has passed most are rating him just right.
5- Arturo Gatti (career) Just right. No one thinks he is an ATG. Most know he is just a very exiting fighter.
6- Ricky Hatton in 2007 Just right, I don't believe he will have much success if he goes up in weigh though.
7- Oscar DeLaHoya (career) This is a tough one. Some overrate him some underrate him but in general, just right.
8- Bernard Hopkins (career) Just right.
9- Antonio Margarito (career) Slightly overrated a few months ago. Very much underrated now. Williams fought a hell of a fight and Margarito is still a hell of a fighter.
10- Felix Trinidad in 2007 This is a hard one for me personally. He is my fav fighter. Half of me thinks he can beat Jones and the other half sais that it's just wishfull thinking. But I firmly believe it will be a good entertaining fight. Still I think he is slightly overrated as to his abilities now. I do think he is sometimes judged too harshly for his two losses. I can't stand when people say anybody with a jab and some boxing skill would beat him. The man has 42 wins, do you think all of those guys were brawlers. No only the best boxers could beat him.
Re: Over and Under "rated" , you decide
1- Roy Jones in 2007 right
2- Mike Tyson from 1990 to 1996 right
3- Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007 right
4- Pernell Whitaker (career) right

6- Ricky Hatton in 2007 underated by americans. everywhere else is right
7- Oscar DeLaHoya (career)overated
8- Bernard Hopkins (career)right
9- Antonio Margarito (career)overated
10- Felix Trinidad in 2007 right
Re: Over and Under "rated" , you decide
1- Roy Jones in 2007 over rated
2- Mike Tyson from 1990 to 1996 deserved
3- Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007 deserved
4- Pernell Whitaker (career) under rated
5- Arturo Gatti (career) deserved
6- Ricky Hatton in 2007 deserved
7- Oscar DeLaHoya (career) over rated
8- Bernard Hopkins (career) under rated
9- Antonio Margarito (career) under, then over rated
10- Felix Trinidad in 2007 probably over rated
