Floyd Mayweather - Muppet Alert
Not sure if anyone posted this already but it made me laugh. He does lead a full and interesting life, doesn't he ;D
Floyd sighting in Vegas!
WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is well known in Las Vegas clubs for throwing handfuls of cash into crowds of people. On Saturday night at the Las Vegas Hard Rock, that practice could have had shocking results. According to MTV and TMZ, Mayweather's friend 50 Cent was performing a poolside concert on a stage suspended over the water, when Floyd started tossing bills around and into the pool causing concert-goers to dive in to collect them. The show was cut short soon after by 50 Cent due to fears that the people in the pool were pulling the stage full of high voltage electronics into the water.

What is a bigger upset?
1. Buster Douglas KO'ing Mike Tyson
2. This thread sitting here for 5+ hours without a response by Danny G
Danny G's speed and reflexes are definitely not what they once were. In his prime, he would have been all over this thread in a heartbeat.
Is Danny G a shot poster?

LMAO!
I seen the video and Floyd and 50 did nothing wrong, however everyone in the crowd was chest deep in water and something could have happend. I saw no cause for alarm but 50 and his people did. Just glad nobody was hurt. The only person who would have came out of this alive was 50 cent. lol

LMAO.
That was no fight.
It did not even come close to living up to the hype.
Had it not been for the ODLH fans in the stands, I would have fell asleep. They were ooowing and aaawwing at anything ODLH did or did not do.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - Muppet Alert
The fight wasn't competitve or exciting because Mayweather was THAT good. Why fight when u can simply outthink, out manouever and out box an opponent. You dont get paid more for KO's

Not that this is aimed only at you but it is something that has crossed my mind lately. Let's say, for the sake of argument, that anyone could learn to fight like floyd. Would it be a great thing for boxing if everyone fought like him? IMO, no. It would make boxing very dull. He is considered boring for a reason. The only thing interesting about watching him fight is the people fighting him.

I agree slk123. Boxing needs exciting fights as much as it needs boxers who have skills. As for me, i love to watch knock outs rather than a show of skills. Fans have different tastes, ya know.
Re: Floyd Mayweather - Muppet Alert
Hey, i see u guys point of view, definitely. But as im gettin older i jus seem to appreciate more of the skill involved in the sport. Sometimes its good to weatch Boxing to see Boxing, rather than Drama, Violence n hype
Re: Floyd Mayweather - Muppet Alert
Not everone can fight like Mayweather, his style is his own and exceptional. If boxers could do what he could do, hit without being hit, they would all do it. But give me a boxer who can punch anyday eg Trinidad, Hearns and Roy Jones.
