Question for tam seddon - ref: Froch
Tam im wondering how long we are going to have to wait for Froch to step up for a world title shot ???
Ive nothing againest the guy , but hes getting old and has done nothing ?
Why is he fighting a 36 year old Robin Reid who has lost ...........
1997 - Malinga
99 - JOKE Calzaghe
2000 - Branco
2003 - Ottke
2005 - hammerd by Lacy ?
i mean why bother ? is he over rated ? or can he really walk the walk , it seems a real waste of talent to take these kind of fights .
This by the way is a genuine question my fellow northener , im just curious

I think he is massively overrated. Never fought a top 20 guy. Bit of money in a Reid matchup tho. Thats why he is doing it. He'll probably KO shot Reid, then mouth off saying how he beat Robin easier than Joe C and is therefore better....
Put Carl in with Joe C or Kess, even a fit Mundine and he'd get his ass handed too him. He is a Danny Green level fighter at best.
Re: Question for tam seddon - ref: Frotch
I think the 'Cobras' wasting his time in Reid.
He should have lined himself up for a title, I know Smashup and a few others are big on him...
Aside from Mikkel & Andrade, Inkins my bwoy! at Super Middle. I think Inkins got the goods to beat Froch himself.
I also think Inkin beats Lucian Bute and Mundine.
Mundine would definetly be his toughest opponent but I think Inkins good enough to outbox him in a comfortable UD win.
Inkin boxes very well and has very good movement in the ring his body work is superb I think he's a champion in the making.
Re: Question for tam seddon - ref: Frotch
I agree. I\'m not sold on Froch. He needs to seriously step up the competition level.
Re: Question for tam seddon - ref: Frotch
I think Carl Frauds people are hiding something about him. Which is why there reluctant to really challenge him.

Didn't he have a hand injury or something like that?
After the Testeyvoan fight.....

Let's see. Poor competition and hand injuries. What is he another Calzaghe?
Re: Question for tam seddon - ref: Frotch
Calzaghe actually has the style to win world championships, Froch....eh that can be argued. He can swat but he has some serious mechanical flaws.
Re: Question for tam seddon - ref: Frotch
Froch can punch no doubt! But his defense leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. Altho he's been calling out Joe Calzaghe for years i feel that in reality he really doesn't want to run into Joe. He may be waiting for Joe to get beaten or retire and then make his move.

Froch was suppose to be fighting Joe C but that fell through, he then has the option of carrying on fighting for his British crown and shut the load mouth up of Robin Reid, so he took that option. The lack of fighters i think Froch has made a resonable choice.
Carl Froch is the number one in the WBC and he should be in line for a shot against it by next spring. But Kessler is fighting Joe C so he couldnt fight him now. So It's looking like Carl if he beats Robin will have another fight for his British crown and fighter either the winner of JC-MK or fight for thier vacant WBC belt! Does this answer the question?

Sergey Tatevosyan was nothing more than a tough journeyman.
Froch has plenty of opponents to fight.
Lucian Bute
Jeff Lacy
Denis Inkin
Vitali Tsypko
Allan Green
Giovanni Lorenzo
Librado Andrade
Edison Miranda

But look at the list most of them have just fought, injured or having a fight soon. Froch is in line for a shot but its just taking time for him with other events. It will come, he just needs to knock more people out. I would like Miranda-Froch that would be a cracker!

After the Reid fight i want Froch to fight one of the names on my list and if he beats any of them then i'll start taking more notice and give him credit.

|I really am not sure what will be next for him but i know he should have a shot at the WBC title before spring 08 because he is the number one contender. But lets just wait and see if he beats Reid yet.
