HBO were taping a "Behind Kessler" in mid okt. + watched him sparring.
Kessler injury:NO

Wow! Kessler kicked Calzaghe's ass with an injured hand. Impressive. ;D ;D ;D :Sarcasm:
I hate when rumors like this start to fly around before a big fight. No matter how the fight ends up or who wins it causes some sort of controversy. If the guy with the supposed injury loses there is an automatic excuse for his fans, If the guy with the supposed injury wins his fans will start talking smack saying their guy was so much better he won with one hand.
It just ruins the true outcome of the bout. I wish that the medical exams also consisted of hand x-rays, checking of the rib cage for tenderness, the shoulder muscles (maybe some sort of mobility test or something) to avoid these things.
I know I am talking crazy here because the sport thrives on drama to help build up future bouts but for the big ones it would be nice to disreguard any possible BS ??? Just my thinking outloud :-\
This is great news!!
I feel more comfortable now picking Joe by decision in the tipping comp and the odds on a Kessler KO will increase, so I' am glad I waited to put my bet on.
Pinnacle have him at +436 or 5.36
Dont believe the hype, Joe's hands are the ones in question. What about Joe's sparring? He's the one that doesnt spar alot because of his hands. Maybe they are just trying to avert everyones attention to Kessler.

I like that one better.
Joe's gonna bust that cream filled Danish the fwock up! ;D
Kessler denies it, says he'll go at the heavy bag in front of the media. Normally guys will play UP injuries, not down. If Kessler said his hand was injured, chances are Calzaghe might underestimate him. What in the world does he stand to gain from denying a hand injury, if he's actually got one? Makes absolutely no sense ???

Calzaghe will hurt his hand a few rounds in anyways. It will be even territory if its true! If it is hurt just stick a couple injections in the hand before the fight and it'll be ok. This will not be a problem even if it's true.
But I never believe these "facts" that come out before a fight. Could be a psych out, could be false, could be a little pre-excuse to fall back on. Lots of motives.
