Roy Jones vs Michael Moorer
I thought at 175 this would be a good fight to think about. A Lot of people forget how good Moorer was when you was in the LH division. Since a lot of his big wins were at HW but at LH he was something with 22 fights all by knock out and that is pretty impressive. Then there Jones who was champion for a long time at LH. I think Moorer's power might be the big factor at LH Moorer had big time Ko power i see this by a UD by Moorer or Maybe a stoppage late. I like to see what you guys would think of the match so plz give me your thoughts on what you think.

And the only reason i put this fight is because i think people only remember Moorer for Being put to sleep by George Foreman. But forget how dominate he would of been if he would of stayed in the lower weights so i not trying to hate on Roy and think of people that beat him. Just curious to see what people think of this fight i find it to be a pretty interesting fight but who knows I do not so thats why i asked.

I havent really seen much of MM at LHW so its hard to comment. He'd have to be exceptional to beat RJJ tho.

Only guy to become a LH champion with a 100% Ko rate and he was pretty amazing at the weight.

cc Mr140. I like this matchup and if anyone would have a good shot at beating Jones a Lt. heavy Moorer would be the man. He was a hell of a puncher and also a southpaw. Plus he was an intellegent fighter and wouldnt fight Roys fight imo. Id favor Moorer in this one.

Moorer was a very good boxer with incredible power at LHW....A feared fighter no questions...Would he have beaten Jones?....Not sure if Roy would have even fought him unless the choices were slim and none.....

Yea good point Khan but i have already made Michael Spinks vs Roy Jones already so i tried another one Khan. Figure if i stay long enough on a thread i get some good info from some one i know it might be annoying though so sorry in advance.

Moorer was a solid fierce fighter at Lt.Hvy. and had very fast hands with buukoo power.He was also a converted southpaw so it carried in both hands and Jab.With Emmanuel in his corner his head was screwd on straight and IMO he was ducked by Prince charles Williams AND Virgil Hill at the time.He would openly mock Williams.
The big thing though was his not so great competition.Leslie stewart,Frankie swindell (who had moments in career) and Ramzi Hassan not exactley all stars.Moorer did what you should do with Fighters below your level and destroyed them.I just dont think we ever saw Moorer at his top potential at Lt.Hvy.That said Ive had a life time commitment to Never Pick Jones in Nattas/Nil/Nothing so Moorer in a Hypothetical KO win :o :o
