Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
I think this is a strong case for Mosley doing very well against Cotto. Paulie didn't have the power to really do anything against Cotto, but he was hitting him a lot, and looked similar to how Mosley fights in some aspects. Add Mosley's speed and power to Paulie's performance, and I think Cotto loses, especially considering Mosley is prone to cuts, and he will be able to take Cotto's punch easier than Paulie.

I wasn't aware Mosley cut easily

I agree i even remember Paulie rocking Cotto in 9th round i believe Paulie sure did hit him alot his speed gave Cotto problems but he couldn't dent Cotto difference is Mosley has the speed of Paulie and the power to stop Cotto.
But i disagree with Mosley cutting easily i can only remember him being cut vs Forrest on the forehead when he was headbutted.
Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
Well see, I think Cotto's looked a lot better at 147, his legs didn't look that great against Paulie, looked drained to me.
Seems like Taeth probably meant to say Mosley isn't prone to cuts considering it makes no sense to say "and I think Cotto loses, especially considering Mosley is prone to cuts. "
Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
Guys that was a typo obviously or that sentence wouldn't have made sense. THe contradiction was that Paulie got cut where as I am not sure if Mosley has ever been cut except maybe in the head clash with Forest, but that was much harder than Paulie's head clash with Cotto.

I don't think Cotto's legs were all that much worse, he hurt his left hand which slowed down his productivity in that fight, but even before that Paulie was throwing back, and taking what Cotto could dish out. Mosley is much stronger than him, and maybe even stronger than Cotto.
Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
Paulie Gave Cotto perhaps the toughest fight of his career...If Paulie had some powewr behind his punches I can Guarentee Cotto would not be undefeated......
That fight made me a big Malinaggi fan....

Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
I am not sure if sugar at this point in his career is faster then paulie.
But i do know he has more power then paulie and that is a fact.
This is way off topic but speaking of Paulie i like to see him face Juan Diaz. I think it be a good clash but Paulie win a UD good boxer and Juan has no power to really make give Paulie any trouble like Cotto did when they fought.
Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
If Juan moved up it would be a great fight, all action from 1st to last round. I really don't know who I'd pick, would have to see Juan at 140 with someone 1st. I don't think I give Paulie enough credit, but he is a good fighter, no power but slick as oil and tough.

This is to all your threads, Mosley is has faster hands than Paulie at this point, and is harder to hit because he still has faster reflexes than Paulie, and people are more cautious coming in on him because he has more power which helps his defense.

CC Back Daxx. I liked your article.
Re: Just watched Paulie vs Cotto again, and...
Mosley is Faster and stronger than Paulie. and that's THAT!!.
If Paulie and Cotto fight at 147 now Cotto will likely to end that laud mouth with heart.
Mosley vs Cotto is a 50/50 to me every boxer that face Cotto made the mistake of thinking he is onedimensional and that is were they fail.
