The Pogues are awsome, the first time I heard them I must've been like 13 or 14. My uncle plays the Fairy Tale of NY every Christmas... Without the Pogues, there could be no Flogging Molly, who are one of my favorite bands.

You do realise that quite a large number of people love these artists?
Because one person doesn't find them particularily appealing doesn't mean that they are overrated.
