Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
People I notice dig on Floyd and say that he was beaten in the 1st Castillo fight. I have watched the Colazzo fight multiple times and I feel Hatton lost by at least a round.
So to me if people are gonna talk the Frichizzle about the Castillo fight, Hattons victory to me was just about on par with all that controversy

People forget that Mayweather had an injury to his shoulder in the 1st Castillo fight. Plus Mayweather proved the doubters wrong by outboxing Castillo in the rematch by staying off the ropes at all times and not allowing Castillo to bully him on the ropes thats the same tactic i feel Mayweather needs to use in Hatton fight.
As for Hatton vs Collazo well i think that was combination of a few things, 1 Hatton not being at his best, 2 Hatton has always had problem with southpaws even in the amateurs, 3 Collazo's speed gave Hatton alot of trouble. I believe Hatton may of won by 1 round but what people don't realize is that even though Collazo isn't a big puncher he is still naturally big so his punches are still hard enough to do some damage.
As i see it Hatton will have to cut the ring off forcing Mayweather on the ropes using his footwork, and use angles on the inside when he gets a chance to work on the inside. And Mayweather needs to use same tactics as he did in 2nd Castillo fight if he does then he wins pretty comfortably imo.

The general concensus on the forum as far as I remember was that Hatton won by a 2 rounds, but if he had touched the canvas in the last a draw would have been fair. Collazo hitting the canvas in the first was what cost him that fight, no doubt. I see how you are drawing a comparison and to an extent it's fair, but Ricky still won the Collazo fight in most people's eyes, the Mayweather one was a draw at best for floyd.

Floyd got a controversial decision in a tough fight at a new weight. Floyd promised a rematch. He rematched that guy immediately and proved who the better man was.
Ricky got a controversial decision in a tough fight at a new weight. Ricky promised a rematch. He ree- huh? What? Uh, my bad. Ricky then ran back to 140 and fought somebody named Urango.
I know that I'll get some negative feedback for this. But it is all fact.
Re: Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
I have actually rewatched and rescored the fight now.
1. 10-8 Hatton
2. Very tough call, I'll give it to Collazo for arguments sake. 9-10 Collazo
3. 10-9 Hatton
4. 9-10 Collazo
5. 9-10 Collazo
6. 10-9 Hatton
7. 10-9 Hatton
8. 10-9 Hatton
9. 9-10 Collazo
10. 9-10 Collazo
11. 10-9 Hatton
12. 9-10 Collazo
So, If Collazo won the second it was Hatton's by 1, if Hatton won it, he had it by 3.
The judges scored it 115-112, 115-112 and 114-113 which is spot on imo.

If you look at round 12, that should have been scored a KD. Collazo didn't push him down. Ricky was hurt and falling forward. Collazo just moved out of the way.

If i remember right Hatton was rocked and he went back to the ropes Collazo missed a punch and Hatton slipped.
Re: Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
It wasn't ruled a KD by the ref, hence I scored it 10-9, but I see your point.

Please look at the tape and tell me if you feel it was a KD or not.
Ricky isn't Zaheer Rahim (Zahir Raheem?). RH doesn't flop about the canvas.

Collazo hit Hatton with straight left Hatton fell forward into Collazo, then Collazo pulled Hatton down.
Re: Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
PBF is gonna Knock Hatton TFO
Re: Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
Damn that coward hatton never kept his word and rematched Colazzo like he said he would he did the easy thing and ran back to 140 with a bunch of lame excuses. as much as i dislike Floyd he knew that some people thought his fight with JLC was close so he immediately gives him a rematch to shut up the critics go figure. Hatton fans love to shove that incident under the rug saying things like , he won the fight and dont have to prove anything (load of shit) fact is in that last round the wild man was out on his damn feet.

Hatton should have given Collazo a rematch. There are a lot of questions unanswered b/w the two of them.
But, I think, in Hatton's mind when he thinks about Collazo, he thinks about being almost KO'd. He doesn't want any more of that.
Re: Mayweather vs Castillo and Hatton Vs Colazzo
I think that PBF and Hatton both should've lost those fights, but they were both so close and competive, its not like either fight was an outright robbery.

And that's fair.... they also should have both rematched those fights.
