Can Cotto Be As Good As Felix Trinidad Was ??
Imo he is certainly on his way im big Cotto fan but even i thought Mosley would be too much for him but he proved me wrong and im glad. I think Cotto is much less one dimensional than Trinidad was, Cotto can switch Southpaw, he can fight on the back foot and counter, he also uses his jab to good effect. I think he can beat everyone at Welterweight except Mayweather. although Tony is bad style match up for Cotto im a bit worried about that match up, and Also Paul Williams but i don't think Williams has the fire power to hold off Cotto and i also think Cotto's body shots would be too much for the slim Williams. But in your opinion can Cotto be as good as Trinidad was ??

I certainly think he can be as good.. But as both an athlete and a man im not sure it would be possible to outshine tito
I just think although cotto is very entertaining that tito was more entertaining

Trinidad would of won imo, not many would survive against Tito at WW in a toe to toe battle.

No its not interesting, its stupid. Tito is already putting himself at a disadvantage fighting so high in weight and if hes sparring a jr welterweight then that aint good. Jones still has power and tito hasnt been hit by a light heavyweight before so i think hes in a load of trouble.

I think the skys the limit for miguel, I think as far as boxing greatness he is well on the way to surpassing Tito, but in the popularity stakes he is a long way away, Tito was like a puerto rican God.

It was a rumor going around on another website i posted it here i think, i don't think Tito would spar with Cotto either but its just what i heard.

Ya, I'd like to see a link with a credible source on this one. I don't see why Cotto would want to be a sparring partner, and I don't see why Tito thinks that Cotto would prepare him well for Jones.
Cotto and Jones are about as opposite as you can get in terms of fighting style.
