theyve probably never heard of them there. look at the low ratings for CALZAGHE kessler.

Thats what I was thinking. If Calzaghe Kessler got fuck all watching why would this be put on to suit American TV
Surely can't be.

As a fan of both British and International boxing I feel that it is dreadfully unfair to alter the time of an entirely British contest so as to suit the American audience (No offence to any of our American posters!!)
I simply cannot see the justice in forcing the British boxing audience to pay to watch their local heroes do battle and then having the fight at the earliest time of 2am!!!!

Warren added that he expected the 20,000 venue in Greenwich to be full on the night and that the fight would begin at approximately 0130 GMT for the benefit of an American audience.

yep just read that and a previous post by lefty to say it was on Showtime
expected fight time of 1.30 means it will be on about 2.15. Thats a real pisser - yes its an all british affair so they should watch it to suit us !
But then again money talks :-\
don't think will bother going now - tv job
Re: Haye v Macca - anyone know if it's going to be a late fight to suit USA ??
Ah, thats a pity, but what can I say, the fights been made I shouldn't complain about the time. All credit to Frank, he's making some great fights this year.
Re: Haye v Macca - anyone know if it's going to be a late fight to suit USA ??
Thats not bad atall given other fights
Hatton money may was on at 3 am or something so that'd be about 10 pm in america..
Calzaghe - lacy was on at like 2 am..
Half one aint half bad to stay up for..
Re: Haye v Macca - anyone know if it's going to be a late fight to suit USA ??
Why would Americans want to watch these two.
They are both World Champions in a terribly poor division, Haye will probably beat him and go onto the Heavyweight Division, which is fair play to him, which leaves Maciranelli where, to come in and hold Joes hand after he wins a fight, to get on TV.
Has Macarinelli actually beat anyone useful?
Least Haye beat the best in the division.
I doubt half England will watch the fight let alone America
How can people compare this to Benn v Eubank. They were household names, even my mom wacthed those fights, My mom would think Im talking about Pasta if I mentioned Macaranelli, least Hayes a big name on the party scene, hehe ;D
Re: Haye v Macca - anyone know if it's going to be a late fight to suit USA ??
Macca hasn't fought anybody of any real significance. What he has done is hooked up with a great trainer and in the short time he spends in the ring he has shown some great flashes. His boxing ability may well now be better than Haye's and his stamina is certainly.
Wayne Braithwaite is the biggest name on Enzo's record beyond a doubt.
(On domestic level he has a loss to Swably who May be recognisable to the British audience.)
I think this is a good matchup and although I personally see Haye as the heavy favourite I'l be shouting for Enzo.

Re: Haye v Macca - anyone know if it's going to be a late fight to suit USA ??
