This was taken from a US radio station a month ago which I just found and it's a good interview but he talks crap, sorry if this has been posted.

"I can't understand how he (Hatton) claims to be the best when he's not the best in Britain".

"If Floyd wants to come to the UK then he should box me and I'm looking for that fight to be done by the end of the year, I'd rather face Mayweather now than Hatton".

"I was not impressed with Malignaggi against Herman".

"I want fights with champions in the prime".

I applaud Junior for his confidence, but if he really believes he's better than Hatton and his power is better than Mayweather's why is he "lowering" himself to Hatton???

I hate Witter i would love it if he fought Hatton and got the S**t knocked out of him.Or it would be funny o see him lose to a nobody.

Lets see how he handles Hopkins 1st . Thats make or break . If he does well then he gets the fight as public demand and pressure will call for it . But ifits a bore he can kiss goodbye to any big fight aspirations .

I expect Witter to stop Hopkins not impressed with him he got a gift of a dicision against Forbes.

All I know is that Witter keeps calling out Hatton and Hatton keeps making excuses for not fighting him. I believe Witter may be correct in his assertion that Hatton is scared. Where I come from, when someone calls your courage into question, you show them just how courageous you are (see Mayweather vs. Hatton). Based on the evidence, I have no choice but to call Hatton scared.

To be honest this has gone on too long Hatton needs to step up and make the fight!

It will be interesting to see how Hatton comesback after his first loss, I suspect he will take a confidence boosting fight to shake off the cobwebs and then take on Witter at the end of the year. It's the one fight he can take and make big bucks in the UK. Then a return to the US to fight Malignaggi or whoever, 140lb is not strong at the moment. He will not get a rematch with Floyd!

Witter is saying statements like this because he knows that his record cant back up why he legitmate to fight someone of Hattons class. He has beat Harris, SO WHAT!? Hes a bum who was a champ years ago and has done nothing to prove he was worthy of being the champ at 140! Hatton would have stopped him if he didnt get knocked out by Carlos Maussa!

Witter is a nobody and to be honest I think D hop can be beat him. He is nothing but mouth and when Hatton fights him he will get stopped. Witter struggled against Colin Lynes who isnt anything on Hattons level, Hatton would stop him.

Hatton wans big named fights which offer a lot of money. Witter holds nothing but a WBC belt but no record which would define Hattons record. He needs to get the belts at 140 to show he is the man. I think PM would beat him and Witter has no say at 140.

Beat Dhop and get more of a name at 140 because there is nothing to show he is worthy compared with PM and RT that he deserves his shot.

In my opinion Hatton would stop him in 5!

If not Witter, than who? I agree Witter's resume ain't great. But based on his wins over Vivian Harris, DeMarcus Corley and Lovemore N'dou it's at least as good if not better than the other top 140 pounders. If you look at Paulie Maliggani, Ricardo Torres and Kendall Holt resume, they ain't much better. So I ask you again, who do you feel Hatton should fight if not Witter?
