I wouldn't say Herbie was the worst boxer ever....
He was a very undersized heavy, which is why he was largely ineffective and poor in that division.
At Cruiser his own size and power could serve to make him at least a little succesful
Booze raised the point, just because he wasn't the best doesn't mena he was the worst. This sport is made up of maybe 10% top guys and 90% up and comers, journeymen and veterans, So i feel to respect the businmes we have to respect all fighters therein.

Herbie is a very good boxer it is his chin that has let him down. He also can hit harder than people expect. Bowe said he hit him the hardest of all his opponents. That may also be down to his speed. He is like an Ail without the chin, heart and desire.:confused:

I think Herbie did great considering the disadvantage he was at, chin....size.....loonatic ect ect.
He was the WBO title holder when there was some good fighters out there so he was'nt that bad.He had great power think he should of been fighting down at CW he was to small to match the big men at HW plus he had a bad chin.
he never had a good chin thats why he'a known as china chin herbie, but he did have some good skills, speed and a good punch on him old herbie................ we'll let you off sexyboxer if that is your photo on your profile and you are a lady, just joking.....we respect everyones view here
