Sultan 219...Wlad 238!!!!

Holy mother of God, Wlad is below 240! I hope he hasn't been sick or anything because that's pretty fucking light.

I am not sure what Wlad and Manny have planned to do and I sure as hell hope they figured for him to be this light. This more than likely means Wlad did more stamina training....or at least I would think so

I thought the same thing....if he or his camp are having any problems now is the time to bring it up, we're not gonna want to hear it afterward in the very unlikely event he were to loose. Hopefully it was planned move to help keep up with the little guy.

Theres also a possibility of over-training....

It does seem a little strange when you consider that Wlad has always been by far the best conditioned heavyweight in the world.

He must have lost some muscle mass as I doubt he had an extra 5 lbs of fat to lose, he's always completely ripped.

After thinking about this a while I believe Wladimir is going to look to move around a lot either due to Sultan being on the attack or because he's going to have to chase Sultan around the ring....but that is just my opinion

I think that's more the case for fighters who get out of shape between bouts.


I think Wlad may have just eased off any kind of power training he was doing and focused on stamina and mobility

....is Jeff Mayweather going to be the corner man for Sultan??? I know of Sultan's fondness of Panama Lewis and I also know of Panama's ban from ringside.

2 quick questions

#1. If Sultan wants to be a recognized and appreciated fighter then why get trained by a dirty fucking cheat of a trainer?

#2 Jeff Mayweather...you're trying to get out of the shaddow of Roger and Floyd Sr.....why jeopardize your career working with Panama Lewis?

But back on topic, this extremely light weight for Wlad is shocking....it might be a sign of several things....hopefully it's that he's preparing for this fight like it's the biggest fight of his life

Im not going to knock Wlad's jab. Especially when one of his "boring" jabs would knock me the eff out..

It isn't the most exciting thing to watch. But keep in mind at this point Wlad's jab has more force behind it then many other fighter's money punch and it is brutally effective.

It is a tell when someone uses the word "robot" to describe a boxer that the closet they have been to the sport is laying on the couch watching a PPV ;)

If you try sparring once, I think you'll gain a whole new perspective on the sport. Taking a jab from a mediocre 140 lb amatuer would probably be enough to send you out of the gym crying, never to look back!

Wladimir Klitschko: "I am going to win the fight. I am determined to win this fight. The fight is scheduled for 12 rounds, but I doubt it will go the distance. I'm the lightest I've ever been but I feel strong and energetic. I feel great! The weight was a result of intensive training with fighters who were all at least one weight class below me."

Sultan Ibragimov: "I feel fantastic. The weight is fantastic, perfect!"



I suspect Andy Lee was a major sparring partner for him as well as Johnathan Banks
