Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
I was shopping in my local supermarket , and i was chatting to former WBO champ Carl Thompson.
He was still in top shape and didnt look 43 i must say , I was also suprised how much smaller than me he was for 1 thing , i asked him about the upcomming Haye v Maccrinelli fight as hes the only guy to have beaten Haye.
He chatted about the fight with great enthusiasm , and he told me he had a substantial bet on Maccrinelli , and told me he would win inside 3 rounds.
I argued my points for a david Haye win but the CAT wasnt having it , so all you Enzo fans out there get to the bookies , cos Karl knows Haye more than any of us guys.

Obviously spent to much time being punched in the head. Davey boy to lay the welshman out.

I thought you only got really het up about Junior Witter!
But seriously, a guy who's been in with Haye should have more insight than you or I bro, and I'm sure it can't be just because I agree with him. I think Haye's stamina is suspect, especially at cruiser where he'll be pretty weight drained, and I don't think he can KO Maccarinelli, which says to me Macca on points.

....anyone else thinking Haye-Harrison for David's next fight when he's forced to go to heavyweight???
Macca better watch out for Johnathan Banks!

Did you see Johnathon Banks this evening Lyle? I was hoping to get a look at him but he wasn't televised over here. Good win?
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
I didn't get to see him tonight but that was him standing behind Wlad in the interview.
Johnathan Banks is a tough guy and has already shown he can get off the canvas to win a fight.

Klitshcko v Ibrgaimov was dull enough the first time round, it'd kill me to go through that 12 rounds again.

No that would require someone with truly monsterous power like Lee Swaby
Re: Just met Karl Thompson ,his thoughts on HAYE V MAC
Am I the only one who is most curious to know what supermarket Thompson was shopping in?
If he's doing well for himself I'm guessing Mark's and Spencer or Sainsburys.
Tesco's is ok as long as he's buying from their Finest range.
If he's in Asda however the poor guy must have fallen on hard times.
Finally if it was Lidl I hope there will be some kind of fundraiser benefit for him, should we get a petition going?

Nothing wrong with Lidl. They sell stuff you can't get in any other supermarket. Tins of squid, fantastic soft cinnamon/chocolate biscuits, pheasant, quail, soft-shelled crab, high quality olive oil for a quarter of the price of internet merchants etc. etc.
