GRRRR:OSCAR DeLa Hoya sickens me

If it's not his wasting time rematches or picking on smaller fighters,it's his trying to steal all the headlines and make everything about him. Here's why I'm annoyed this time:

It's taken from boxingscene.com/. Gary Shaw is having a rant because Oscar is co-promoter of Isreal Vazquez.

Shaw goes on to detail his annoyance:"This past Tuesday, De La Hoya held a press conference at the Home Depot Center in California to announce his May 3 bout with Steve Forbes. Shaw took offense to the timing of De La Hoya's press tour, because of a possible impact in ticket sales on the Marquez-Vazquez meeting, also taking place at the Home Depot Center, and was also upset with De La Hoya's lack of promotion for this Saturday's bout.
"What happened (Tuesday) was also totally wrong," Shaw said. "This week should belong to two Hall of Fame fighters, Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez, who have literally left their blood on the canvas in two prior fights, and are about to complete their amazingly exciting trilogy Saturday at the Home Depot Center on Showtime."
"That is what this week is all about and should have been all about. Nothing personal against Golden Boy; we are going to sell out anyway. But for the life of me, I will never understand why they did what they did, especially when they co-promote one of the fighters. Why would a promoter try to take the limelight away from one of their own fighters? This should have been Israel's time, not Oscar's."

Exactly!(I think) I'm just annoyed,he could help promote his fighter,make this fight reach the masses and attract alot more fans to boxing/give the fans something to cheer about. I hate seeing fights like Rafa v Isreal and a few others not get mentioned just because it doesn't feature 2 names. It'll be more exciting than Oscar v Floyd:the glorified sparring session part2.

I don't like forbes but I do hope he beats the shyt out of oscar. Hopefully by knock out so we can say steve did it but floyd couldnt. I don't want it to go to decision cause oscar may pull another sturm on us.

Has any BIG NAME of boxing ever fought for free on television and also having tickets as cheap as ODLH? I wonder.

If ODLH faces someone who's smaller "Oh ,he sucks!"
If ODLH faces someone who's a challenge "Oh, he sucks!"
If ODLH retires "Oh, he sucks!"
