I mean it all ended so quickly but if you watch the 2nd round closely, Enzo narrowly misses, on two occasions, the second part of a vicious looking left-hook double-up. If the head shots had of landed, Haye might of found himself on the floor.
Haye was sensational last night though and i'm proud for my fellow Londoner.
I have high hopes for him at Heavyweight.

Not really surprising IMO i didn't think it would go more than 4 rounds, i thought Enzo's only chance was to get Haye into later rounds because of Haye's suspect stamina. I know it won't happen but i would love to see Haye take on O'Neil Bell before he moves up.Quote:

I just watch it on youtubve. No, Haye wasn't lucky at all. Ducking and slipping hooks isn't luck. Enzo got completely owned. Haye should be able to make some noise with the big boys.Quote:

Enzo was TOTALLY outclassed,if this fight was unlucky then so was virtually every other ko in boxing!I have total respect for Haye,I've criticised him alot before but he seems like the real deal. Rozzy... I'm not saying Haye was lucky to avoid the shots, im just saying Maccarineli was unlucky not to land them. He had the right idea.
I'm saying this mainly because one of the 1st things Enzo said was '' i know what i did wrong''. Not much time for doing things wrong IMO.
Enzo can know what he did wrong after the fact and it's doesn't mean a thing. When my coach slaps me with a pad in the head for throwing a lazy jab, I know exactly what I did wrong after he slaps me. I wasn't unlucky for getting slapped. Enzo wasn't unlucky not to land them. Haye was more skillful to make him miss. He might have had the right idea, but having the right idea and being able to execute are two different things. Enzo was lucky the ref made a good stoppage before he got really hurt.Quote:

Haye was sharper, faster, smarter, he was everything in that fight, he used good defense moreso than ENzo barely missing... I mean he landed a few hard rights on Enzo. What I don't get is why didn't the ref call it a knock down when ENzo first get hit into the corner it looked like he was already on his way down, but the ropes kept him up... I think that allowed David to hit him with 5 or 6 more solid shots that really ended the fight.

Haye did not impress me last night.....neither did Enzo but point is that was not a great performance...Haye did a better job in the Mormeck fight....Haye was staggered by a fricking jab in the first round...and he is supposed to go up and bang with Peter, Klitschko and the lot of Big HWTS....I don't see it....
