Miranda vs Abraham II coming to the USA?
I hear this might happen in June at a catchweight of 166lbs.
Wow! This would be a long awaited rematch for me. Those extra 6 pounds would be huge for Pantera. This time he will finish the job. ;D
Re: Miranda vs Abraham II coming to the USA?
I don't see Abraham taking that fight. Huge risk little reward.
Abraham will fight over here, but expect it against a guy who he is guaranteed a win against to set himself up for a big money showdown with Pavlik.

I agree. But it would be good if it happened

Definitely. Miranda deserves another crack at him.

He needs a big win in the USA for Arum to make the fight happen. At 166lbs, if he loses, he still keeps the belt. He blames the loss on the weight, gets another win at 160lbs and goes after Pavlik.
Holy Mother F$$%^$& Could this be true?
Look at this!!
Arthur Abraham

Could be true, this article confirms that date.

Says it is for the IBF middleweight title though. Miranda would have to cut off his arms to make that weight again. Weird.
Re: Holy Mother F$$%^$& Could this be true?
Wow sounds like Abraham has grown some balls.
This would be a cracking rematch imo.
Pavlik showed that Miranda can't fight when backing up but Abraham just isn't a pressure fighter. He can't adopt the style that Pavlik used to beat him so he'll once again have to absorb Miranda's blows and out box him.
Their first fight was one of my favourite fights ever, just completely brutal.
If this happens again I can't wait!
I'm still going with Abraham though, although he'll probably have to go through hell again to win it.

Pantera has another thread about this fight.. Don't think it's signed and set by any means yet though. Apparently it's supposed to happen at a catchweight of 166. Should be a great fight if it goes through, shows real moxie from AA if this is his first fight in the states.
Re: Holy Mother F$$%^$& Could this be true?
I hope it's fought on neutral ground this time if it comes off.

Yeah, doesn't that show some balls from Abraham though, to take a rematch with the guy who busted his jaw, as his first fight in America and no doubt on HBO??? I mean this is a lot more than just a rematch of a grueling fight for AA, it's his first impression on American viewers, against a dangerous mo'fo who he really isn't well suited to fight stylistically. As I believe you said, AA can't really back him up, it's going to be another war.
