Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
Hopkins is the harder man and its the harder man i pick Mayweather vs Hatton all over again.
Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
Ive just watched a video of the weigh in. Calzaghe looks supremely confident, in great nick and I am convinced more than ever that he is going to do a number on Hopkins.
Fireworks are in store!! :D
Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
BHOPs body looks exhausted, i highly doubt he will win. IF he does it will need to be in the early rounds b4 6 or 7, after that i think it's all over for BHOP.
That's my opinion but feel free to share some thoughts..........CHEERS!!!!
Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
I saw their weigh-in in FNF. And I could've swore they both touched lips.
Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
Joe looked like a lunatic laughing like that, both of these guys seem to be a bit crazy actually.
Re: Calzaghe/Hopkins Weigh-In Pics
I think Hopkins was a bit intimidated about the fact that Joe had no fear of him at all.

I think the opposite. Hopkins looks calm and Joe looks stressed, making faces and so on.

Good point . When has Hopkins ever not had a pyschcolgical advantage going into the ring before? Joe was buzzing like this b4 the fight with Kess and we saw how he performed then.

Calzaghe did the same lunatic grin at the Kessler weigh in. I suppose directing all of your efforts to beating a fighter and with the anticipation of it all being so close now....it would make anyone a bit crazy! ;D
Calzaghe looks mobile and ready to go. Fooking bring it!!!

What makes yo think Hopkins doesn't have the psychological advantage? Kessler doesn't do much with the mind games, so Joe could do what he wanted. Hopkins is the master of mind games. To me it looks like Joe is looking for some advantage in the weigh in because he needs something. Hopkins looks calm and like he has nothing more to do. It's his bread and butter. Those smiles will mean little to B-Hop

Difference is though that Kessler doesn't have the same psych as B-Hop has. I bet Hopkins sees this as a sign of stress and will use it to his advantage. Whether it helps in the fight or not we will have to see but those minor antics will not affect Bernard at all.

Hopkins is always good when it comes to pre fight rituals. Im pleased that there were no shenanigans from BHop besides a somewhat weak "I will break your heart" or something lame like that.
Calzaghe looks menacing though. I was having a few contemplative moments but the weigh in has dispelled any room for doubt. Calzaghe is going to hack Hopkins down like an old tree.

Wow that's brave. I mean I hope so too but how do you see that happening?

I know when Hop has an advantage or not . I saw it with Winky . I knew Tarver was beaten b4 he stepped in the ring but I havent seen anything from Joe that would suggest teh same. Hopkins hasnt doen anything . He tried getting in Joes face at the weigh in but Joe got in his face back and got the crowd behind him . Hop was booed off the stage . I could be wrong but my feeling is if Hopkins is gonna beat Joe its gonna be in the ring as he cant do it outside.
