Boxing in the uk is also extremely limited, its all about money if you ask me. Said TV channel can broadcast a UFC event for virtually nothing yet one PPV boxing replay will cost more money than its actually worth for the station.
Boxing is the one true worldwide sport - its played in all continents (dont quote me on antartica) by all religions, sizes etc.
In a way im actually kinda glad. If the UK ever got a round the clock boxing channel that showed up to date weekly worldwide boxing shows i think id give up my job, give up my social life and just spend my life infront of the box 24/7

In America it plays out like this
HBO/Showtime each show 1-2 fights a month and will sometimes replay the featured fighters previous fights IF they were on that channel before.
*Both channels require extra fees to get them
ESPN2 has Wednesday and Friday Night Fights usually missing one week a month for each for some other sporting event while the season is on that's about 6 fights a week.
*Basic cable, must have cable to get it
Versus. has the odd fight every once in a while once a month or so.
*not provided by all services partially covered by cable
Telefutura usually has fights on Friday's but not always it's on basic cable where I live and is an all spanish telecast.
Telemundo has a random fight on every now and then, it is also an all spanish telecast.
