Newly crowned WBC super welterweight champ Sergio Mora called out Oscar on the SHOWTIME telecast after winning the belt from Vernon Forrest. With Hatton seemingly out of the running, can Oscar refuse a shot at the green belt?

So much for the little hope that Oscar would fight Cotto...I know...Mora only called him out,but you all know that this fight will now most probably happen...
....I hope Mora gets violently KO'd...maybe when Margarito loses to Cotto he'll move up and do us all a favor

I actually wouldn't mind seeing this fight; could be real entertaining IMO.

Mora and Duddy would be interesting. John is seriously limited, but durable and tough.
Well Miranda/Abraham would be at 168 right? So if Miranda wins I don't think he'll fight either. If Abraham wins, Abraham could be a viable option.
As for Pavik, I don't think he really wants that. Unless he wants to cash in and retire young.

Mora could have the beating of Duddy, but if Duddy shows up with some new defence he could be a force.
Ironically for a while now I've campaigned to have Duddy expelled from the middles and forced to 154:D
As for Pavlik. Middleweight Cotto (but not as skilled) Duddy better hope he doesn't fight him.
Duddy should really find a way to move down, you're right. He and his camp must know by know that Duddy is not the future of the MW division. The best he can hope for at 160 is to be a gatekeeper. LMW is much more open and there are some lucrative fights for him at that weight. Pavlik would give him a Lockett-syle beatdown. Abraham would crush him, Sturm would box his ears off and the rest of the top 10 would have a good chance to wipe the '0' off his record without being much $$ or much credit if he wins.Quote:

If he could make a fight with Manfredo at 160, it would also be a smart business move, but his best shot at getting a belt is to move down. Mora/Duddy would be a very attractive fight.
