Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
"His (Hatton) exact words were, 'Dad, the fans made me, so I want what's best financially for the fans. I want to make it more a price for them because it is near Christmas'.
"He's putting his weight behind Vegas because of the money the fans are going to save."
That's BS... If he want it cheaper for the fans, why not have it in UK? Hatton is planning to have 2 more fights, against Paulie and PAC, then let those 2 fights be held in UK...
Re: Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
Hatton cant call all the shots.
Vegas clearly paid Hatton the most LV stands to earn Millions from Hattons fans.
It was a money thing but hay if he fights Manny next year in London im happy.
Re: Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
It'd better be a hell of a lot cheaper.
Hatton vs. Malagnaggi is not quite as big of a draw as Hatton vs. Mayweather;)

Then Hatton should not claim it as cheaper for his fans coz obviously the UK fight is the cheapest...
Paulie declared that he can fight Hatton in UK just like what they have done in their last doubleheader in Manchester last May...
Re: Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
Hatton, just like Galzaghe, is chasing the money as he has only 2 fights left and he wants to maximise his earnings. He needs to ensure he gets more than the 5,000 tickets and let more of his fans see the fight. If he was fighting for his legacy he would have fought Paulie at MSG, a big ambition for any boxer. I think he had Joe should both have a last farewell fight against a low ranked fighter to end their careers in the UK as a real thank you to his fans.

If Hatton is chasing real BIG money then he should scrap the Paulie fight and face PAC instead in November... then fight that low ranked boxer in UK as his last fight...
BTW, which is cheaper flying from UK to New York (MSG) or Vegas?
Re: Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
If you get a package deal for flight and hotel, vegas is cheaper not sure about it if its done separate.

I don't begrudge him making his doe while he still can in a dangerous sport, but it's pretty shit of him to claim he's making these choices for the fans, he must have a pretty low opinion of them.

Re: Hatton's next fight in Vegas - cheaper for the fans?
Package deal or no New York is a cheaper trip than Vegas
But I can get the taxi to City of Manchester for £10
bring em home Ricky!
I think Vegas against Paulie is a Bad move for Hatton everyone's tightening there belts at the moment and I doubt I will be paying for a Vegas trip in November to watch him destroy powder puff!! not when I could be saving for the best seats in the house for Pac in the Spring I think it could be a low turnout

Absolutely... Hatton-Paulie doesn't deserve the fans' hard earned pounds/dollars/euro compared to Hatton-PAC...

Hatton is full of shiit. If he really wanted to give back to the fans put that shiit on free TV.
