Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I'm not sure if I will be doing this RBR or Mar; who mentioned he might like to do it himself.
Either way I figure just in case he can't make it I'd start it up. Nothing fancy with my RBR's; so don't expect a Wackoesque' type performance from yours truly, but I'll do my best.
Tonight we have 2 pretty decent fights to keep us occupied while we patiently wait for the bigger boys like Pavlik/Hopkins and Calzaghe/Jones to get busy.
Chris Arreola, a HW prospect with a record of 24-0 with 21 ko's is fighting Israel Carlos Garcia, who has had a sparse career being that he is 38 years old and only had 20 fights with 1 loss and no ko's:shakehead: Personally I don't see what kind of opponent this guy is for Arreola, as he is supposed to be a major prospect in the American HW divison, but my money is on him getting smoked out of that ring in about 2 rounds. This guy has no knockouts and Chris will walk right through whatever he plans on throwing I would suspect. Never seen this Garcia kat before and I doubt I ever will again after tonight.
My prediction an easy, too easy, fight for Arreola. A ko for sure, just not sure when but betting it will be fast.
Then we have Paul Williams moving up to fight at 160 for the 1st time in a long time for him, to face an apparent up and coming prospect opponent in Andy Kolle, who is 17-1 with 12 ko's.
I admit to knowing very little about Kolle, I just know of 2 names on his record I am familiar with: Matt Vanda who he beat in 8 and Andre Ward who got him out of there in the 6th round of an 8 round fight. This should be an easy night for Williams in my opinion; he has fought at 160 before, though 2001 was the last time I believe he fought at 160. It's wondered if he has trouble making weight at WW these days, and since there seems to be people avoiding him he seemingly is making his move up again. Will be interesting to see if he brings more power with the weight; and if he does he'll get this guy out of there in 6 or 7. Like I said I don't know Kolle at all so maybe I'm way off; but regardless if Paul carries the weight well and can still bring that phenomenal output, he'll win imo. Been at this weight before and he's got more experience.
That's my take on it. If you don't like than wanker off gooberheads:tease-new:

How long until the fight ?
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
I don't know ICB. I looked and it has boxing on VS in one hour, but it doesn't say what or who. Then an hour after that it has boxing on again for 2 hours, so I'm betting that's the one with PW and Arreola on it. I'll check in an hour just to make sure.
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
And can one of the MODS sticky this please?:)

Good work. I'll be up for this, pulling an all nighter with work.
Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
ICB, the fights start in an hour. They are just replaying one of goofy Tye Fields' fights right now:dunce:

Awesome effort Legion.....you da man ;D.I think Williams is waving bye-bye to the Welters.I also think he can walk right into Jr.Middle and claim a title. He will be a interesting addition at Middle.Great physical gifts, natural range and size but he better seriously tighten up that defense and close his hands among othere things to add some pop up there.
Very happy to see some Arreola.....:-X.He just seems to like beating people up and by god....right now thats good enough for me :fight:

Re: Paul Williams/Andy Kolle RBR
....sorry to be a flake guys, the wife is still at my mom's and i got all the little one's here juced up on fruit juice, cookies (i can't cook) and planning to overtake me as leader of the family to watch cartoons, i'm gonna try and chime in here and there though. I've given up on comfortably getting to watch it live and taping it to watch after they go to bed...
