I believe the Biggest great White was caught was in the Mediterranian, but they dont talk about it to much. It would affect Tourism. Theres 19 people a year go missing of shore most years of Italy ;D. It was 31ft
Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
damn 31ft is huge. if they found a little shark that made it all these years then maybe a Megladon is still out there that would be awesome.
Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)

Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
theres supposed to be a movie coming out either next year or in 2010 called MEG which is about Megladon being found. theres actually a novel about it and it is supposed be the same plot as the movie i should read it sometime.

A great white will make you stay out of the water. A Megalodon will make you stay off the water.
p.s. kingfrnk, I have the novel, it is called "The Trench" it is written by Steve Alten. It's actually pretty good.

Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
It's a real shame it died.It really does make you think what else live far below the ocean that has not yet seen!!!!!!!!
Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
Sharks scare the shit out of me. I actually have a hard time swimming in the ocean beacuse I've heard a lot of "professionals" say if people knew how many sharks were in the water they swim in, they wouldn't be in there.
Plus, TIME Magazine had an article back in the day that said New Jersey's shore is increasingly becoming shark infested.
They say sharks attack humans because they think we're seals. Those same people say sharks are the most misunderstood feared animal. F*CK THAT! I don't care if they're misunderstood, they bite humans and that is what matters.
Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
Nice glimpse.
Mans ability and or insistence to step in and f!!!! things up never ceases to amaze me.
Re: Prehistoric Shark? (vid)
One can only hope that the increased level of awareness of this creature, caused by this story, will aide in its protection. :-\
