Go watch and Read Freddie Roachs interviews. He protects pacman like he is his son or something trying not to get pacman hurt.
He forces fighters to drain weight to fight pacman example morales and oscar.
He said he wants them as weight drained as possible and he has no shame he admits it openly.
then he said he wanted the rematch with marco barrera because it would be an easy money fight and barrera is old.
He made pacquiao avoid JMM for 4 years!!!! because Roach wanted to Rust JMM out! he wanted JMM to be war torn and get more miles on his aging body.
He then said he would never let a prime oscar face a prime pacman, and then said oscar has to make 147 and look how shot oscar was he was dying its sad.
then he said he would only let pacquiao fight margarito at 143??? lol
Now he said Hatton is the fight he wants because Hatton was knocked out by floyd jr and he feels the drinking made him sluggish,

-Oscar was a light middleweight?! How would it be fair if Pacquiao a LIGHTWEIGHT had to move up to 154?! De La Hoya moved down one weight class while Pacquiao moved up TWO!! A prime Oscar would be size, speed, and power. It would've been a completely unfair match-up. The fight was made because Oscar's size and power would be matched up well with Pac's youth and speed. A Prime Oscar and Pacquiao would be a TOTAL mismatch!
-Barrera wanted that rematch just as much so don't even go there.
-Margarito, who would TOWER over Pac, is a HUGE welterweight. Pacquiao, who is naturally in between a lightweight and a light-welter, would be at a huge risk fighting him a welter. Bringing Margo to 143 would be the factor that makes the fight SOMEWHAT even.

Barrera had an off night in their first fight but he was very much still in his prime, it's not like Manny knew he was going to have a bad night, he was facing one of the best fighters in the world.
The Oscar fight was a money fight and a very risky money fight if you ask me, the initial reaction by most fans was that Manny was getting knocked out. Give credit where it's due he boxed a great fight. And what else did you expect? a fight at 154? That's fair:rolleyes:
Hatton is stronger, naturally bigger and still has good movement and speed, it's a good matchup IMO.
Also if you think JMM was too old to be competitive you need to watch the fights again.
I think you should press the preview button and read what you have written before you post it. I'm not even a big Manny fan but you seem obsessed with trying to rubbish his achievements in almost every thread you make.

The only way to protect Con is by not having him fight. That window Con considers a jaw is a huge liability. He's at risk even against D level fighters.

As nobody else has rbought up this most obvious refutation it's not Freddie Roach's job to pick the opponents for Khan or Manny, that's Frank Warren's and Bob Arum's responsibility.
Also to ask if Khan is being over protected when he's fighting Marco Antonio Barrera only months after coming of a 1st round knockout loss has to be one of the more stupid polls I've seen on here in recent months.
