There was a HW fighter from the 1920's whose last name started with a "G"....(that is all he will tell me on the name part)
Who married a woman 20 years younger then him....She posed in Playboy during the 1970's...at the time she was in her 50's...

George Godfrey?
Tony Galento? I know he was a bit after the 20s but his career did start then.
Tuffy Griffiths?
Bud Gorman?
As u can see i've been really researching boxrec.
Re: OK Need Some Help with a Brain Buster!!!
The only HW I know of from the 20s that have a last name starting with a "G" are Tommy Gibbons and George Godfrey. I don't think either of them fit the rest sorry buddy.

No of course not...they were married later on of course....The big thing I guess was at the time (The 1970's) she was in her 50's so a woman that age in Playboy was big stuff
I know Kel not much but thats all the ass would give me...

Re: OK Need Some Help with a Brain Buster!!!
I'm thinking she had to be some type of notable entertainer,Movies etc. ???
Re: OK Need Some Help with a Brain Buster!!!
Was the the covergirl for Playboy or was she just posing for it?
Because if she was the covergirl when she was 50 im sure wikipedia could mention it if you researched it there. Then all you have to do is look her up and find out who her husband was if his last name starts with a G then its him.
Re: OK Need Some Help with a Brain Buster!!!
No 50 year old was ever a playmate. The oldest playmate was 35. Not sure about cover girls.
Assumng ths was a pose, as opposed to just a picture that accompanied an article, then if she was in her 50s she must have been famous, most likely more famous than her husband the boxer. She could be an actress, perhaps a famous starlet who was born in the 1920s and starred in movies during the 40s or 50s.
Betty Page is one possibility, born in 1923, she's been in playboy many times, but she had no boxer husband that I could find.
