I don't think he will 'beat him up' but he will beat him. I'd be glad if he did bash him up because I'm hoping on a strong comeback for Miguel.

To answer your question Mick...
Yes I do think that Cotto will inflict the worst ever beating on Jennings.
Jennings is a good domestic fighter who I've seen a couple of times.
Although his feet are ok and he's pretty nippy, he takes quite a few shots and I'm afraid with Cotto such a slim man can't afford to do that.
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
I think that's Cotto's level of motiviation for this fight is immense. Coupled with the fact that there doesn't seem to be a legal way for a welterweight to actually beat him. Considering Jenning's relative inexperience and the level to which he has to now ste up, I can see nothing other than a heavy defeat by Cotto.
i would say that Jennings is technically a little better than Gomez imo, so it may not be as bad, however Gomez' heart is huge and that's why he took such a beating. I doubt Jennings will last as long tbh.

Well I have never seen Jennings fight, so I can't make a call on that.
However, I see it going one of two ways......
Cotto will get his bearings early, then begin to toy with Jennings, like he did with Gomez, in order to get some rounds in, and then go in for the kill and take him out mid-rounds.
Or
Cotto will come in wanting to make a big statement, and will take him out as quickly as possible.
I have complete faith in my man, and I know that he is going to show everyone that Margacheato didn't break him.
War Cotto!! :jabbing:
;D

Jenning's will make Cotto work for 2-3 rounds then Cottos strength will take over i'am picking Cotto in the 5th.
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
Im pretty sure he will.
Hes put a bad beating on about everyone hes fought (including Margo).
Why would it end here on a fight that he want to prove dat his loss didnt ruin him?
He is going to maul him. i must admit Jennings is a brave man. :army:
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
I have to say that i never seen Cotto very Confident as is now , i think that the first lose and the situation of Margacheato gave him more motivation than ever , he in this fight will demonstrate convincingly to all fans that he is the man in this Division , also he will comes to earn the confident of all fan again , theres no doubt on that................
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
Jenning just bit off more than he can chew...Cotto is no Minter, Takaloo, guys that took Jennings the distance wouldn't last a few rounds with Cotto. Will be over quick.
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
I think Cotto is a man on a mission. He lost his unbeaten record by KO against Margarito. He's probably understandably upset about the reasonable doubt created by "Plaster-gate." He has seen the Puerto Rican spotlight at least temporarily grabbed by the up-and-coming Juan Manuel Lopez. And he figures someone has to pay for all of this. Nothing against Jennings, but it must suck to be him right about now.
Re: Do you think Cotto will inflict the worst beating ever on Jennings?
I suspect that along the 4,5,and 6th round....The butterflies in Jennings stomach will be replaced with vicious hornets. This will be his night to be the 'game challenger' and Im sure he'll do his best. But this is your local Single A minor leauge state team going into the Major leauges.:shinner:
