- Steven Luevano & Abner Mares - Latest News!
I just read that Steven Luevano failed his physical and has been withdrawn from fighting on the Pac-Hatton card. No further details have been given.
I also just found out why Abner Mares has been inactive. He underwent eye surgery himself.
A bit strange that 2 fairly young guys who have not been around for long, although Luevano does have 38 fights.

It's a disappointing news for Bernabe Concepcion who was scheduled to fight Luevano for WBO featherweight title under PAC-Hatton...
This is some kind of weird news... Luevano still has a full month before the fight and maybe enough time to recover if it's only a minor injury/sickness... Hmmnn, I'm curious about the details...

Acutally I have been.
I haven't been following as closely for about a month now.
Got a lot on my plate and I didn't see any threads on it so I thought I'd post it.
Re: - Steven Luevano & Abner Mares - Latest News!
I wonder what happened with Luevano. I was really excited to see Luevano vs. Concepcion, I think their styles would have made for a competitive fight.

I just get the impression that Luevano needs to make a move quickly,That Santiago battle would have been a nice return.Dib was a win but waste of time in career progression.
