B-Hops next fight...
By Gabriel F. Cordero
Former world champion Félix ‘Tito’ Trinidad and promoter Don King had a meeting in the Hotel Ritz Carlton of Isla Verde, Puerto Rico to try to set up a rematch between Trinidad and Bernard Hopkins. Trinidad, now 36, suffered his first defeat against Hopkins, now 44, in 2001. Sources assure that Don King and Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer are near an agreement for a fight in November. Trinidad needs to train for five or six months.

No way, please please no

Re: B-Hops next fight...
Are these two that hard up for money? Why not join the WWE. They can be part of a tag team. I would rather see that than these two in the boxing ring.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
It's a bit disappointing for B-hop coming off one of his greatest wins in his career and now fighting Tito who was clearly past it against another washed up fighter in RJJ.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
BHOP blew it by not making a fight with Adamek....That was a winable fight for BHOP and would have added to his legacy with the Cruiserweight title. This fight with Tito is a joke....Tito is a shell.....
I wont buy it on PPV that is for sure.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
Jesus, I'd rather see Hopkins fight RJJ than this.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
i Agree With Hunter But I Dont Think Adamek Would Lose To Hopkins.maybe Hop Was Thinkin The Same When He Didnt Take That Fight.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
Nah,I can't see this.Sounds like Tito and King are networking, looking for a huge match but I dont see Hopkins going 8 years in reverse to again whip him.It just would be pointless.Hopkins too smart for that. But I do agree,he should have made the Adamek fight.....I'm still not sold that its totally off the table??

Re: B-Hops next fight...
Tito has not figured out like the rest of the world has that he can not beat pure boxers. Hopkins will do the same exact thing to Tito like he did the 1st fight and either beat him up worst or knock him out earlier. I don't see why Tito didn't give Oscar a rematch or try to go after Pavlik. Hopkins vs Adamek is the only fight that makes sense for Bhop and no other.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
I've read that the reason why Adamek-Hopkins didn't work out is because Hopkins offered Adamek a ludicrous 500 000 and getting all the rest of the dough. This fight would be extremely interesting and I hope it'll happen.. if Hopkins want to be a bit more reasonable.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
Id rather see Hopkins v Ruiz rather than a Tito rematch. why go backwards???? Hopkins v Adamek could of cemented Hopkins legacy. a very winnable fight for him

Re: B-Hops next fight...
I can see why B Hop wants to fight Adamek as he was very slow and hittable and I could see another boxing domination like Hopkins did with Pavlik.
Round 8 he took a big right hand flush from Banks who is a big hitter, so his chin is very good. Adamek finished the fight in the same round with his own right cross on Bank’s chin. Unfortunately he was not as durable. B Hop would win on points.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
NO WAY IN HELL I WANT TO SEE THIS!
Hopkins dominated Trinidad when they were younger. Hopkins is still on the top of his game while Trinidad has ZERO left! What would make a rematch now any different?
I can see why Hopkins would take the fight. Trinidad is a name and will most likely generate some money from his countrymen wanting to see him fight.

Re: B-Hops next fight...
I can't imagine a single Tito or Hopkins fan wanting to see this, I can't imagine any boxing fan wanting to see this either.
