honestly wasn't too impressed with Ward against Miranda, he was open to the right all night long, and unlike Miranda i think Dirrell will capitalize on it and make him pay dearlyQuote:

Although I think its an excellent match-up I think it could be a lot bigger (& possibly better) a year or two down the line. If one or both of them pick up trinkets & stay undefeated against solid comp this fight has the potential to be a super fight in time.
I don't think theres any need to match these two just yet, although I am all for undefeated contenders meeting each other I think this one can sit in the melting pot a little longer!

The problem is Allen Green doesn't have the speed or skill to land IMO on Ward, I mean didn't Miranda beat Allen Green in a fight where unexpectedly Miranda had a similar if not superior level of boxing skills? Ward-Dirrell is great, and I think Dirrell will show people just how good he actually is.
Very good fight could turn out to be like the RJJ, B-Hop fight in terms of greats meeting early in their careers. I say make the fight, and I pick Dirrell. Ward doesn't have the pop Dirrell has, but they are both fast.

Nice I have been calling for this for a little while. I wonder if it will happen. I'm pretty sure these guys are friends, which might make it not happen. I agree with some of the other guys on here saying this could be jones/b-hop of our era. I hope it comes off.
You are only open if you are getting hit, how many times have Roy JOnes Jr, Mayweather, Whitaker, Hopkins looked open because they've had their hands down, only to be impossible to hit. Ward was so much faster than Miranda he could get away with it, I doubt he would be that open against Dirrell.Quote:

Green's defense is just as bad as Miranda's but he's a lot more technically sound than him, only other nod i'd give Miranda over Green is his chin, also, remember Green was sick around the time of the Miranda fight, do i think it would have made a difference, no, but i do think he could seriously test Ward, especially when he proved that he doesn't have much powerQuote:
