On early tonight, hopefully one of these guys makes a statement as they are all on the cusp of falling out of the spotlight.

Carlos Quintana was supposed to be fighting Perez tonight, but he has backed out no explaination.


Looks like the undercard is going to be Lightweights Ira Terry 21-2 (12 KOs) vs. Leon Bobo 18-2-1 (2 KOs)

Bobo looks really dry has an eye twitch before he punches like Punch Out style. Terry getting slightly aggressive. both guys look very flatfooted a few range finding jabs. Bobo tries for a 1-2 both punches miss and he hangs on the back of Terry's neck. Terry's shorts up to his chest now. Bobo lands a weak left, Terry misses the counter.

Bobo dialing in on the body nothing but elbow. Terry starting to up the pace a bit with jabs. Now Terry jumps in with a lead right. Terry is inside, Bobo hides behind a high guard Terry punches the arms. Back at range Bobo tries to slow things back down with the jab. clinch and hold til ref break. 20-18 Terry

a little fencing with the jabs, Terry backs up Bobo, Bobo goes back to a tight guard. Terry lands on the elbows with attempted body shots. short jab for Terry misses, 1-2 from Bobo misses. Another missed combo from Bobo, Terry jumps into a clinch. Terry tries to rush in Bobo slides out. Clinch and release. Terry is moving really far away to avoid punches. Bobo head falls between the ropes on a dodge. Not much happened that round.

29-28 Terry.

Bobo back to the 1-2, Terry rushing too fast and unable to get anything done. Terry rushes again, Bobo dances out of the way. Terry starts clubbing his way in. Teddy comments that he didn't like Terry's body language at the end of the previous round. Big right hook lands for Terry, Bobo dances away again. Bobo misses a 1-2 dodges a hook and lands a counter right. Bobo has absolutely no power. Terry's shorts are now falling off his ass. 1-2 from Bobo misses. Speaking with Glen Johnson.

39-37 Terry

Terry comes out with a flurry of lefts charging in and trips. Terry looks like he has a sense of urgency now. Terry gets Bobo in the corner, Bobo is able to escape. Terry charges again and a clinch. Terry, looks very aggressive now in spurts, Bobo doing enough defense to frustrate Terry.
Bobo jumps in and misses, Terry tries to counter and also misses. Bobo lands a full force straight left with is equivalent to strong breeze.

49-46 Terry, both guys are missing a ton of shots.

Bobo starts leading this round, Terry turning into a bulldog but not getting much done. Terry pushes Bobo into the corner, but he didn't get anything done. Bobo clinches. Another clinch. another clinch. Straight left from Bobo lands again and another. Bobo clinches headfirst. Bobo going to work now. Terry jumps in again swinging wildly and clinches again. Bobo lands another left. another clinch.

Terry skipping in trying to wear out Bobo I guess. Maybe a headbutt, looking at the keyboard. Bobo grabbing his face. Terry rushes in going frfor the body. Bobo looks extremely disheartened. Terry going for it, doesn't know how to get it done. Bobo starts fighting back. nice short right hook from Terry lands. Clinch, long clinch. Bobo lands two right hooks. Terry falling all over the place trying to land bombs........

Both guys put on their game faces. Tactical jabs from both men. Straight left from Bobo lands, clinch. Bobo with another straight left. Terry lands a nice Right hook to the body. clinch. Bobo countering Terry who looks very desperate and one-dimensional. Ref warns terry for pushing with the forearm. Bobo unloading landing a few. Clinch. Terry looks tired bouncing for some reason to come in, Bobo counters.

77-75 Terry

Neither guy looked like they've been trained. Terry has one mode, a mediocre counter puncher with even moderate power will absolutely school him. Bobo just doesn't not have the power to keep people honest or the work rate to take over rounds. I have Terry edging this, but easily a draw or win for Bobo could be on the cards. Both guys did give an honest effort, the skillsets need to be sharpened though.

The main event looks a bit underwhelming but you never know.

Danny Perez vs. Carlos Molina coming up now. Should be a good action fight. Molina always brings it, taking this fight on 6 days notice.
