JMM drinks his own urine and declares...

...'I'm preparing myself to die in the ring.' :o This guy wants it bad. I'm just curious, if anyone on here can explain the benefits[?] of drinking your own piss? :confused: He does state himself in the latest episode of 24/7 that it's full of proteins etc., but surely he is just going to piss these out again later - maybe he plans on continuing this cycle all the way up to fight night? This was the best part of the latest episode for me, the dichotomy between the two fighters' styles - heart and mind, body and spirit. Marquez eating 25 raw quail eggs and drinking his piss whilst Floyd gets a pedicure from some petite Asian woman in an up-market beauty salon. I mean, I know Marquez has a great ring IQ, too, but it seems like what we've got here is a case of Will vs Skill [wherein Marquez's will could be said to be slightly greater than that of Mayweather's, and Mayweather's skill could be said to be slightly greater than that of Marquez's]. This might seem a bit redundant, but people seem to be voting with their head in the other thread, so what I want to know is: who do you want to win this fight, and why? Is it because you like one more than the other, want a particular match up to come off after the JMM/PBF and MC/MP fights are finished and the dust is settled, etc.

I want JMM to win this fight. I think that, after being robbed against Pacquiao at least once, this represents his last chance to put himself into an elite bracket. Regardless of whether he wins or not, imo, he's still one of the greatest fighters of his generation. But, if he wins, he puts himself up there with the likes of PBF and Pacman, and stakes his claim as the greatest Mexican fighter of his generation. To Floyd, on the other hand, this represents just another stepping stone, just another shrewd business decision paving the way for an even bigger paycheck next year.

For those of you yet to see it, this is the kind of sacrifice necessary to be a champion :drinker:

The most amazing (or disturbing) thing about that is that he doesn't even use a chaser.

If I ever had to drink piss, I would have a gigantic jug of something else in my other hand to wash it down with.

his been doing that though, he said for his last 5 fights i think his been cycling his urine. I didn't know about his chamber though, i got great respect for marquez because of the extremes he'll do to keep himself at the top.

I've always like marquez but will go against him everytime when his oppenent is pac. I am liking him more and more and think he can really shut floyd down.

This is what I mean about Marquez having the greater will - it seems he will do anything to gain an edge in the build up to this fight. Kind of reminds me of SRR drinking a glass of blood in front of Jake La Motta and then offering him a glass for himself just to psyche him out.

He started the show off with eating spoonfuls of 'turkey boogers' and ended up with drinking his own piss. :D He seemed to be enjoying grossing folks out and I guess promoting his dedication.

This was just ridiculous. I mean it makes Ray Robinson drinking beef blood in front of Lamotta before a weigh in look like child's play. One of the most nastiest thing's I have seen in the boxing world even worse than Holyfield's ear being chewed off and spit out. I do understand where is coming from but damn Marquez, Scientists have done studies about this stuff and they proved it is not true. Waste is waste keep there.

I do wonder what Mayweather's camp could be thinking. This will be VERY interesting; Something I got surprised though; Why Nacho accepts people to see JMM spare when Mayweather doesn't allow such thing? I mean, personally, being the coach, I would not allow nobody to see him spare. I am also a bit skeptical about the true-ness of the blood which we see on PBF's opponent's face, especially when the protector he has is pure white just to magnify the contrast, I might be wrong and would gladly accept it but I carry some doubts big time.
