Floyd wont even talk about Manny!!

Does he have to be the one getting talked about all the time? He thinks he is so important but in reality there is a bigger star now and he hates it with a passion. I mean what a sorry arse bitch refusing to go on TV because they wanted to mention Manny, Oscar took his place instead:rolleyes:
Re: Floyd wont even talk about Manny!!
wow that was intense.
oscar de la hoya is a white Spaniard Mexican and George Lopez is mixed so i saw some tension between them. makes for good tv. nice find i enjoyed it.

Yeah.........anyway Floyd not going on the show........:p
Re: Floyd wont even talk about Manny!!
Like Oscar says in the video, Floyd's a savvy man who understands the business. There are plenty of things they could ask that would hurt his chances at a decent purse. It's only smart of him not to go on air and talk about Pacquiao before the deal is made.
Also, remember, it takes 2 to tango. Everyone says it's up to Floyd whether the fight happens or not, when in actuality, it's up to both camps. It wasn't even a week ago that Roach was yammering on about a 60/40 split (for Pac) at 145lb limit. You can bet your ass that Floyd won't take a deal like that, and why should he? If Pacquiao is the bigger draw, it's not by that much. Inflated ego or not, Floyd wants the match to happen, but 'Money' obviously won't take it if he feels he's getting ripped off.. and it's not just about money, any less that a 50/50 split could hurt his legacy as well.

So he swore at the producers down the phone because they wanted to talk about a possible massive fight coming up and he decided to stay at home? He was always happy to do it with other opponents on the radar, what is the difference here? I thought he would take every chance to gain attention for the fight like he normally does.

You can fuck off, you ain't paying attention, the presenter clearly states that Floyd never turned up after they talked to him about Pac. Take your pathetic neg rep and fuck off by the way.

That's because in his previous fights (since becoming a boxing superstar), none have been this close to 50/50 in negotiations. The only recent one in which he got the smaller end was De La Hoya/Mayweather in which he bagged about 10mil and Oscar, about 25m. At the time Oscar was obviously the bigger draw (and + promotional duties) got the Mexican American the much larger purse.
Although, to some degree, you may be correct in that his ego is too big to share the spotlight with someone else. It's not an uncommon occurrence at this level of the game :D

Re: Floyd wont even talk about Manny!!
ok i watched it again and george lopez says something about floyd and you're talking like he said something important. floyd didn't show up because he's got shit to do. he might be taking care of some business or cooking dinner for his kids, whatever the fuck he does at this hour.

I said what the video showed, your thick skull managed to finally absorb what was being said? You said it never mentioned Floyd a few posts ago. Please just piss off you are a waste of fucking time.
